Reviews for Unrequited Love Is Hardly Fashionable |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well I don't know if you're still out there, but are you implying that Lavinia and Richard had an affair? Quite spicy for her! I hope the truth comes out! Great story and quite an original twist! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Are you still out there? This is a great start and a completed story I've never read before. Maybe you left after the unfortunate Dan Steven event. Well I hope you are because writing this good deserves reviewing! |
![]() ![]() Love reading this story! Thank you for sharing this! |
![]() ![]() Read this again over the last few days and enjoyed it all over again. Thanks for your delightful contributions to the M/M fandom. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Kudos to you for writting such a nice ending to a beautifully written story. I can so picture Maggie Smith berating Carlisle using the Telegraph newspaper to smear his reputation. I loved the fact that you didn't killed Lavinia off and made her happily married at the end of the story. She's such a sweet character although was never suitable for Matthew as how Mary is |
![]() ![]() LOVED IT. I have no words. Magnificent... You made me cry, laugh, become a nervous wreck, cheer, hate, face palm myself in the characters stupidity, etc. Thank you for that! |
![]() ![]() If the audience wants to write fan fictions for your fan fiction, which I do, then you know your fic is gold. |
![]() ![]() Just had to say that this is hands down the best fan fiction I have ever read. I am so sad it is over. Everything, from start to finish, was perfect. I am posting this review at midnight because I simply couldn't put it down. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the Dowager hammering the nails into Carlisle's coffin in the very last chapter. A very well written story, thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely! What a fairy-tale ending, which is satisfying after what we got in canon. Nice job keeping the characters in-character and wringing a reasonable bit of angst out of them until they got themselves sorted out. It was nice reading a series 2 story that didn't wallow in Matthew's injury, and I liked how you made Sir Richard into someone who wasn't a cardboard villian, although his actions at the very end were a bit extreme. Overall, nice ear for dialogue, a good grasp of characterization, and a minimum of typos, so it was an enjoyable read. Thanks! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I never tire of reading this. So well written and an ingenious idea |
![]() ![]() ![]() Made it thru all the angst, and it was worth it. So glad Matthew got to punch Carlisle's lights out in your story too. Well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The problem with Mary is, she allowed herself to befriend Lavinia, when she shouldn't have. It's one thing to be nice and cordial, but befriending the woman of the man you love is digging a deeper hole. Instead of giving Matthew a way out - she's made it more difficult. If Baron Von Trapp (Sound of Music) can break it off with the beauitful baroness to marry Maria, then so can Matthew! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was very well written. The characters were perfect and the ending was wonderful. Great story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() i thought there was something very Austen-esque about the ending but then it simply fits the theme of the fic doesn't it? i adored the fact Mary was reading Emma, it's one of my favourites. once again i thought this was fantastically written and i loved every bit from Mary's family relationships, especially with Carson, to the introduction of the character James who i thought was everything Mary needed in this. overall a fantastic job |
