The key board issues sounds like you need to press a botton on the keyboard. I belive its the insert button and that should stop the deleting words as you edit

Okay, so it seems like a really interesting story and I like the way you started it off because it really did bring me in but there where just some things I didn't get. I understand the issue with the laptop squishing words together and that's totally fine. The thing is that I feel like it's to... choppy. Like, I did this. I did that. I needed to go here. It's just a matter of working on the flow. Also, I think for the little summary box I think you should actually put a summary in there, ya know, hence the name and all. Just so we know what we are reading about. Essentially, summaries are what makes a reader read your story. I know they say not to judge a book by it's cover (or summary) but that's what people will do no matter what. I really hope I helped and you should continue but just fix some things.
