![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter. Naruto and Sai needs to be punched more. I swear. |
![]() ![]() I really love this story not just because of Gaara and Sakura, but of the storytelling. It's very detailed and descriptive. One can really see that it wasn't written haphazardly. The writer definitely knows what she's talking about. The self-control of Gaara is legendary! Being a container has really helped tame his urges in more ways than one! Honestly, I am just waiting for Sakura to proposition him or she'll spontaneously combust! LOL. Patiently waiting for the next update! |
![]() ![]() Argh! I think I'm going to suffer the female equivalent of blue balls just like Sakura! haha. I'm not actually expecting Gaara and Sakura to do the deed, but I did hope or at least I expected Gaara to make good on his promised before their temporary break up. What infinite patience and control Gaara has! I supposed being his training as a Kazekage with very little experience in matters of love and the birds and bees helped him develop this. Man, Gaara is just so proper hahaha. I almost felt sorry for Sakura. I'd wager though that Gaara will absolutely be a freakin' demon in bed when he and Sakura finally do it! So Sakura better be prepared! Gosh can't wait when that finally happens! More power author! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Finally. Back together! Yay! The slug and cat needs to beat it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awe. Gaara is so adorable. And Baki too:) |
![]() ![]() ![]() great chapter can't wait till Sasuke is in the mix. I hope they can fix this. |
![]() ![]() Wow. Gaara's just setting the bar really high. Just go ahead woo Sakura and make an honest woman out of her! We're rooting for you Kazekage-sama! haha. Seriously though I'm loving this raw and open honesty from him. What's the point of waiting when clearly, both of them love and miss each other? They're in a state of open warfare where they can die anytime, and if one of them died, it's just one other regret piled on top of the other. I honestly feel a little annoyed (just a tiny bit) at the way Sakura was acting. She didn't want Gaara openly display his feelings yet expecting him to hold her hand. At this point, either she decides she wants to be with Gaara or not. If it's the latter, make a clean break. This push and pull thing will only hurt her more. If Gaara could be open with his feelings, Sakura should atleast try to talk it out with Gaara...so we can have our source of tooth decay back hahahahaha. Thank you for the update! |

![]() ![]() So is it finally time for our two lovers to end their mulish standoff? haha! Kidding! As much as I want a love-filled reunion, I am going to emulate Gaara's example of giving both of them the time they need. I believe that their relationship is already in a very serious stage that whether conscious or not, they are already considering its possible outcome after the war. Gaara, for his part, has made his intentions clear much earlier on in the relationship although one would argue it's because he doesn't have to make the bigger sacrifice. He will still be the Kazekage, and therefore, doesn't need to relinquish his citizenship, doing the same tasks he has had. He just needs to make a few changes to his village's laws regarding how his Kazehime should be treated (as his equal). Sakura, on the other hand, has to not only relinquish his citizenship, but also uproot her life from Konoha to Suna. On the bright side, if as good as promised (I have complete faith that Gaara wouldn't renege on his promise), she wouldn't have to give up her profession to be a trophy wife; instead, she would rule alongside her husband (which would bring in a whole new set of responsibilities). Sounds quite simple, but we all know it's anything but. Gaara and Sakura aren't just two ordinary individuals in love, but two powerful and influential shinobi of their respective villages. So much is riding on whatever the outcome is. However, love and faith can move mountains. I am glad there are people like Baki (I have just developed admiration for this guy) and Tsunade giving our two young lovers some advice. Baki seems like a father figure for Gaara whom he can trust implicitly, and Gaara has been his charge since he was young and unpredictable; on the other hand, Tsunade has shown herself to be a mother figure to Sakura and is someone who can actually temper her stubborn streak. And wow, Gaara...the amount of devotion he's showing. He's certainly whipped! hahaha I am sure that many of us shippers have uttered collective "awwwws" while reading this. That being said, there's never a doubt that what Tsunade said is true, he's going to make an honest woman out of Sakura! There's very little interaction here between our two lovers, but I enjoyed it all the same. Thank you again author and more power! |
![]() ![]() Wow. The Kazekage does have a way with words. Any lesser woman would have been persuaded. I'm glad that despite this problem, they both feel so strongly for each other. That's one of the most important things. I do hope what happened teaches them that their faith in each other is valid. Trust is important in the relationship, and you build trust by sharing things with your significant other. It is essential for intimacy. However, even as you are both in a relationship, not everything should be shared. Each person is entitled to privacy; to share or not share thoughts or dreams as long as it doesn't affect the relationship and break the trust that's already built. In a relationship between two individuals of significant standing coming from two different villages like Gaara and Sakura, privacy is even more important. It's even more important for Sakura to understand this because Gaara is a Kage. There will always be a part of his life as the kazekage that will and should remain a secret from everyone, even from his own wife. Sakura apprenticed for Tsunade, and she had from experience, not been allowed to see politically-sensitive scrolls, so more or less, she's capable of grasping this more than an ordinary kunoichi. Hence, if Gaara hadn't shared anything about the plot, she should have been more understanding and not feel slighted that he didn't trust her. I want to thank Shizune (bless her eloquence) for making Sakura realize that had Gaara told her and she subsequently warned the other kunoichis, she would have inadvertently created irreparable consequences for Gaara. I am not saying this to invalidate Sakura's feelings. She has every right to feel indignated, but in the world of shinobi not all legal (ordered by council or what) things are moral. I do feel a lot for Sakura because it seems that she might be the one to make more sacrifices in the name of love. But hey, if she feels that Gaara is worth it...I'm really excited for the coming chapters. At the same time, there's some apprehension because I know Gaara and Sakura's relationship will face a lot of trials, and there's still a war ongoing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() great chapter watching Gaara grovel is funny but small gestures of hus love like her working long hours and he has lunch delivered for her not in her face but where she knows he cares. i wonder when Sasuke will throw a monkey wrench in the mix |
![]() ![]() ![]() i love this story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() thank you for the update |
![]() ![]() I’m happy she’s having these talks. Shizune is right Sakura needs to realise not everything can be shown, somethings must be done in the shadows. Also that Gaara has a lot put on him, the best she could have done for him is be there and help him along. Also can’t for these two dorks have their little mini me’s. |
