| Waterfowl chapter 1 . 10/10/2011
That was a really compelling piece of writing! Intense, accurate and insightful characterization of both Lisa and Dean. And very true to them, I do believe. This story picks up on, by far, the most important aspect of their relationship - Lisa's ability to cut through Dean's self-depricatory BS and face what truly matters to him and to the little makeshift family he loves fiercely.
Even if later he'll deem himself undeserving or too dangerous to act on those epiphanies, they're still fundamental to shaping his identity and priorities on a more mature level.
Thank you for the immensely for such a gratifying read!
