Well, what's the parental reaction?

That was awesome! I love how you use such a mundane action - dropping the bag at the door and announcing one's presence - to convey such deep emotion. The Title Drop at the end made the whole thing.
The tenderness and wisdom in Iroh and Toph's talk were deeply moving, and the lesson to be proactive in healing relationships and to rely on the people who love and accept you rang true.
The dialogue is a bit long and complex, for my tastes, though. I don't think anyone talks like, for instance, Suki did here outside of lectures or speeches, and in general the lines were a bit long. Toph's lines toward the end were great and I could actually hear her voice when I read them, but before that point her dialogue often didn't sound like her.
That was a great look into a thread in Toph's story that remained loose. Great job.
