I wonder what would happen if Celestia was liberated from her sun prison. The way Twilight (or Eclipse, as she refers to herself now) was talking about her, I fear that the reunion would not go very well.

I really enjoyed this story.

The action scenes were well written and Applejack as the famous "One Pony Army" was awesome. I'm not a big fan with Trixie nor do I understand why so many people like her as much as they do but in this story I really liked her.

I liked the way Twilight/Eclipse had a fair amount of depth to her character.

I would personally love to see this turned into a larger series but I understand you're already in the middle of one of those so I wont get my hopes up.

If you were to write more I would like to know more about the war leading up to this point. For example how did Applejack earn the title of the "One Pony Army" and are the other characters as famous? Do they have there own history with the war. I know there the biggest figures in the rebellion but how did they get to be so big?

Anyway great oneshot. Hope you write more.

Beautiful story. While I have never been good at using individual and precise Complements, I really enjoyed it overall. Is there going to be a sequel?

Pretty good. I liked the humor. It evens out the darker parts of the story. It was interesting to see Twilight become an alicorn at the expense of Celestia. Trixie was fantastic the entire time. I particularly enjoyed the scene where Twilight could have completely destroyed Trixie, but chose to spare her. I like how this story ends. It leaves a lot of questions and lends itself to quite a bit of speculation. Like some of your other reviewers, I agree that the story ends perfectly and that a sequel might not be entirely necessary.

The only gripe I have is with the abrupt cutaways to what has already happened. They broke the flow of the story. Twilight's ulterior motive for turning to the dark side also seemed somewhat impulsive, but the fact that she wants to overthrow Nightmare Moon for personal gain kind of overshadows it. Finally, I liked how Twilight could be evil and still be completely in character at the same time.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read. Good work.

This story doesn't seem complete at all.. more of a beginning of a trilogy or something.

Amazing job, honestly. It's got to be one of the most in-depth mlp fics I've read. I really think you should write a sequel to this.
