miner249er chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 wow this is very good, I look forward to the next update |
Mastermind4892 chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 This is... an interesting start. You have got me hooked, which is not an easy task to accomplish. You seem to know what you're doing, so don't go and prove me wrong. As they continue to explore the wreckage and debris, the sense of foreboding will only increase. They may find records, but thanks to the Cole Protocol, it is unlikely. I hope that the next chapter starts with the reaction of the Council to this discovery. I hope even more that when they finally meet humanity, they would have some respect for them. But what I hope for most of all, is that you'll update soon. Good luck. |
RamenKnight chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 Wow, that grabbed my attention very very fast, and got me deep into it. I look forward to reading more. Also, please make sure you do the research, if you need help i will be willing too. |
Inverness chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 You've certainly caught my interest with this. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. Also, in response to GodzillaMaster, 800m to 1km is the size for standard dreadnoughts in Mass Effect. The Destiny Ascension is not a standard dreadnought, but not sure how make larger it is compared to others. |
GodzillaMaster chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 Don't want to sound like a video game nerd or anything, but I think you got the size of the Destiny Ascension wrong. It's anywhere between 800 meters and 1 kilometer, yet the story says it's the same size as a UNSC ship that's 2 and a half kilometers long. Anyway, great introduction, I can tell this story's going to be a lot of fun. I can't wait for the next chapter. |
darkfinder chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 isn't that the system the spirit of fire is in . |
Robo Reader 21 chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 Must be a fast an economically friendly ship to have traveled for weeks on end in ME FTL. Last I check the Destiny Ascension is only a kilometer long. Just saying. Really downplay the damage done to Harvest. A large amount of the planets surface was glassed and it went into a nuclear winter as a result. Who knows what they will find, if anything is left intact and/or salvagable. Both sides weren't keen about letting anyone know about their technology. Can't wait for them to see the bodies. Especially all the human bodies. It will be like in the motion comic of "The Return". Also a fun fact, Harvest is a planet close to Covenant Space. Wonder if the UNSC are keeping tabs on their old destroyed worlds. |
Fl4mekill3r chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 great story no mistakes so far and i must compliment u on the way u made ur story very different starting from the me point of view very exicted for the next chapter. though i have a questions since u said 70 years if im not mistaken then the war wouldve ended 40 years ago which means that humans n elites are kickass or is there something u have installed for us cause tat would be interesting |
Kurogane7 chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 By the fact that there's a covenant ship cut in the middle, I'd have thought that they were at Reach... |
SEESWildCard chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 since according to them the battle of harvest took place at least 70 years ago then that means the H-C war has been over for at least 40-45 years right. Anyways if there gonna go down there will they find any recording, video, or document about the War. If that is the case when will they encounter the UNSC. Speaking of the UNSC have already rebuilt since the war should have been over for at least 40-50 years by now. And what is their relationship with the Elites and other covenent races Can't wait for an update and see how your story will turn out |
Astrolore chapter 1 . 10/14/2011 Interesting start. |
