| Guest chapter 18 . 9/18/2022 I’m just so uncomfortable with the last several chapters. Bella has once again proved herself an unstable basket case. Paul has tied himself to a girl whose go-to response to difficulty in her life is suicide, first by starvation, second by throwing herself off a cliff. Probably without meaning to, the author of this story has romanticized suicide attempts. As long as Paul stays with Bella, she is casually “fixed”, and there is no true effort toward Bella getting the help she obviously needs. |
