Now that's interesting.

Well, this is interesting. A refreshing change from all the other stories I've seen hooking Chell and GLaDOS together through body transfers. Keep it up!

So I've been keeping tabs on this amazing story for a while, but I've been lax in reviewing it because everyone has been saying exactly what I think (which is that the plotline, the characterization, and the diction is just fantastic).

But I thought it was about time I let you know that I'm in love with this story. It's so incredibly different than anything else in the Portal fandom, which is so refreshing to read.

I'm still in shock from what transpired in that last chapter... man, it gave me goosebumps. Just when I thought I couldn't be more enraptured by your writing, you just blow my expectations out of the water.

Good work, Aradien! Please please please keep the updates coming!

Here's a prediction: Cave's final joke on GLaDOS... or possibly Doug's was that Caroline /can't/ be deleted or removed. She IS the system, so when she tried to pull all non-central intelligence out of her system, GLaDOS instead transferred her own consciousness into Caroline's body whilst Caroline remains in charge of the system.

If I'm right then things are about to get very, very interesting.

I have a feeling that GLaDOS got put in the human body, and if she did, boy Chell is going to have a rough time. Holy shit, I jumped a foot when I got this update email! I wasn't sure if you were wanting to continue! And it's so good that I was dismayed by that.

I love your GLaDOS dialogue. I'm sure I've said it once, but I'll say it again. It's so utterly her. She's quick-witted and mean and I love how well you portray her self-preserving, back-stabbing, cowardly side. I tend to write a more mitigated GLaDOS that's eased off on the manipulativeness, but I LOVE reading a fic where that continues, since most people are like "Herp derp now she's nice cuz she's Caroline or something!" It's so in stride with how she is in Portal 1, all petty and scheming. Freaking BRAVO.

I like clueless-ish Caroline too. She's not like super retarded Disney 'nice' like most people assume she would be. Thanks for not making her look like a total idiot. Anyone that served as a model for GLaDOS's personality couldn't possibly be completely retarded.

Normally I'd rage-quit any fic with android!GLaDOS these days, but since you've done everything else perfectly, I'll only minus twenty science collaboration points. And will give you back half of those since it seems like she's involuntarily been shoved into this situation, which I'll buy a lot more than her suddenly deciding she wants to be something she detests.

Anyway, thank GOD you updated, this fandom has made me so mad lately that I posted a troll fic last week instead of the sequel to Square One that I had been planning.

Figured that GLaDOS had something planned and now it looks like Chell won't be getting out of it anytime soon...

A question: Now that GLaDOS has gotten Caroline to come 'forward', won't that have an effect on GLaDOS's actions?

And poor Wheatly, he can't really seem to catch a break can he?

I'm thinking that the human body came from the test subject storage?

And it would be great if you could carify this for me:

Chell doesn't have Gel poisoning, it was just the ruse that GLaDOS used to keep her distracted while she finished up preperations to transfer Caroline's conciousness into a human body (presumabley Chell's) right?

Why did GLaDOS give Chell the ability to speak? - even though GLaDOS can control when Chell does speak, I thought it was a point of interest.

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to your next chapter, whenever you feel like us poor readers have been tortured enough and you decide to post it...
