Taki is a complicated man.
On the one hand there are the ancestral his duties and his minions, on the other hand there are his desire for freedom and true life.
He is born to lead but not the craving.
Military academy knows Klaus and Taki man born there, what he thinks glue his head and begins to yearn to live and to love.
Sad day one.
Taki then returns to his country and Klaus follows him because he can not live separated from him.
Klaus leaves everything to be with him.
To be a faithful servant to the Prince.
Klaus made a great sacrifice for the sake of Taki.
Can be no greater love than this? Yet the love of Klaus becomes violence when you see rejected.
A violent crowds.
Such great story!

Sorry about not signing in. I like this very much, especially the line 'Taki was born in the Luckenwalde barracks.' And yes, the subtleties of the source material are important, and add layers to the more 'obvious' attractions.

Perfect! This is exactly how i imagined taki to feel. This manga is one of the most bittersweet and tragic i have ever read and desperatly hope it ends well (doesn't look like it though). taki is so complex and yet so obvious i wish klaus could see! so frustrating. i loved your story, it gave wonderful insight and completly in character to me. more i say!
