|Reviews for Turkish delight on a moonlit night|
| Jabba1 chapter 6 . 1/21
I loved this! You managed to bridge the time lines so well.
| pitterpatterpat chapter 6 . 10/27/2012
thank you for the wonderful story, loved it.
| EmilyGracetheWhovian chapter 4 . 7/4/2012
"What does River Song believe in?"
"Haven't you realized, you idiotic man? I believe in you."
Oh my gosh. *flails* This is so brilliant.
| Namei chapter 6 . 6/6/2012
I would not be surprised if this turned out to be a real who episode! The plot and tie-in was amazing. Thank you for sharing.
| Starry-EyedandStormy chapter 6 . 6/1/2012
I'm not going to lie: I think that was the best fanfiction I've ever read. The way you wove the Egyptian folklore so seamlessly into the story, as well as the mention of the Byzantium at the end...
And a perfect combination of the flirting, action, angst, and sadness... (Just curious, did you by any chance get the idea for the Doctor to give River the red shoes because Matt insisted that the prop/costumers leave that pair of shoes on the TARDIS after they finished filming "Time of Angels"?)
But really, fantastic, BRILLIANT writing job. You're very talented, and I immensely enjoyed reading this.
| FezzesAreCool chapter 1 . 4/1/2012
So the "Aynaiblis." Seeing as I'm Turkish:
Ayna means mirror and iblis means devil... I see you made a 'very' good searching to yourself. And I can say that Turkish people have a faith, that breaking a mirror gives bad luck for 7 years. I don't know if you, British have it too.
And it's cool to see something in common in your stories, it's good you used Turkish! It made me really very happy.
Allright, enough talking about the Ottoman Empire.
Well, it's really like a Doctor Who episode which made me think you could be Steven Moffat for a second. I know that's a longshot though :P
It was amazing, how you change the words into some brilliant sentences, how you make the characters 'so' real... And I can imagine it you know, I can imagine them in front of me, doing exactly the same things, saying exactly the same things...
Wish I could write like you really. I hope you'll take a good path in your life.
And I saw this in one of your stories' comments; Seriously, what are you doing on a fanfiction website? You should get published!
| TomorrowNeverCame chapter 6 . 2/21/2012
Aw did you have to make the ending so sad? Very awesome story. I would've liked to hear What the demons said to River in the hall of mirrors, but otherwise perfect!
| Snape's little Slytherin chapter 6 . 2/17/2012
You are a GENUIS! Thank you so much for writing this! Great job, very well done. It was like reading an episode of Doctor Who. Like all of your stories, it was brilliantly done. Loved all the Doctor/River moments, loved the flirting, and loved how everything was tied together to the canon.
I love how you write the Doctor. You capture his personality perfectly, keeping him and everyone else in character. This story could fit right in with the canon… and in my mind it will be canon. Added to favorites so I can reread!
| elvisisalive chapter 6 . 1/30/2012
this is one of my favourite stories. you mix banter and action really well
| tigerlily124 chapter 6 . 1/10/2012
Nice story! I liked them together. River is a great character.
| Minaismyname chapter 6 . 12/3/2011
Why have I not read this story before? Everyone should read this.
The Byzantium bit was very clever. This story fills in some blanks, which Moffat never had time to fill.
Just clever and fun! I love reading your stories.
| aroseofmanyleaves chapter 6 . 10/30/2011
Words cannot describe how much I loved this story. And love is an understatement there. Sheer perfection. Just wow. Wow, amazing. Ah, it was incredible and awesome and brilliant and fantastic and I loved every single word.
| mericat chapter 6 . 10/21/2011
A perfectly satisfying piece of fic. Everyone in character and you even fit it into canon. Thanks.
| mericat chapter 3 . 10/21/2011
You write the love scenes between River and the Doctor so gently and beautifully. (Adding a pinch of hot stuff, of course) I like the build-up of tension in the plot and between the two of them.
| mericat chapter 2 . 10/21/2011
Isis and Osiris...good choices. And you used rule #1 The Doctor lies...
It keeps getting better and better. Of course there will be more mystery and more murders..
