| Adi Sagestar chapter 2 . 9/5/2009
I absolutely love this. I really do. But you're never going to update it ever again, are you? Sometimes life is unfair.
| TardisIsTheOnlyWayToTravel chapter 2 . 5/8/2009
(6) Besides, whenever Aziraphale went to Florida, and that was a whopping once, he got to thinking about retirement, and that started making him feel very Old; and after that he'd wound up very drunk in a red convertible with three scantily clad females and he had to call Crowley for help from a payphone at a gas station in Miami Beach. But that's enough story entirely.
*grinning* Sonds like a story worth writing to me.
| Cae Komanoe chapter 2 . 10/3/2008
I love you.
Now, you may say 'Well, stranger-whom-I've-never-spoke to, what could've possibly brought you to this conclusion?'
Or maybe you just slowly back away from your computer, I don't presume to know either way, but I digress.
You are amazing.
And I am very slow. I have just realized tonight that you are- in fact- the same Jaida of shoe-box fame. I was looking at your interview on Shoe-box and you mentioned Cœur de Loupe and I stopped and realized that that was on my favorites on this site.
This leads me to my reasoning as to why you are so amazing. You write Good Omens fanfiction. This lifts you up to ranks in my mind that are quite difficult to reach. (As of this moment containing the following people: Neil Gaiman, Sarah Rees Brennan, Alan Rickman, David Tennant, and Stephan Fry.)
I reiterate: Amazing.
| OceanAndSpace chapter 2 . 10/26/2006
OH MY GOD ! XD
That's so much in the book's tone/style ! I saw you didn't updated it since 2002, but if you could write a little on it again, I would be you eternal servant, 'coz I LOVE THIS ! X3
It's so much like them, the endless and pointless conversations, and the helplessness of Aziraphale... _ Oh, please, more ! *puppy eyes*
| Kagedtiger chapter 2 . 7/7/2005
My my, it's been a while since I read this. Is there going to ever be more? It really feels like there should be more. At least one more chapter, or something...
| Rose Flame chapter 2 . 3/21/2005
This is a brilliant example of fantastically wonderfully fantastic Good Omens fanfiction. *glomp* You should receive awards for it, and I do hope you update soon. Your footnotes are amusing and enlightening, and you have mastered the art of Pratchett's Drunken Ramble. Much love. _
| Sike chapter 2 . 7/20/2004
Said it once.
I'll say it twice.
You writting is awesome.
If I have to say it even one more time...
I would be very pleased.
| Wierd Kitty chapter 2 . 12/28/2003
Uh... Actually I think the whole story of what happened when Aziraphale went to Florida would be quite enjoyable. If no-one else wants to, I may just write the thing myself.
Oh, yes. It aws good. It was very good. Maybe you could put the footnotes at the bottom of easch paragraph or something, though (in the future, I mean) so there isn't so much scrolling around involved. I've seen other fics that do this, and it's very effective.
| anon chapter 1 . 12/10/2003
Just a quick note, to add to one of the previous reviewers - yes, England doesn't have Ivy League, and yes, Oxbridge are the top unis, BUT, Red Brick universities are well-thought of too; if I remember rightly, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds and red-brick, possibly Durham... there's a few of them.
The one's that get snotties are the ones either no-one's heard of, or reformed polytechics (oddly enough with the exception of Salford uni, which has a post-graduate employment rate that knocks most unis socks off!)
Love, love, love your fics deary. *not in a particularly constructive mood, besides, how do you give a constructive review when it's ALL bloody good?*
| Ace Girl chapter 2 . 4/18/2003
Truly awesome... I think the coolest thing was the footnotes. Seem quite a lot like the book. I was giggling. _;
| sugahcat chapter 2 . 3/23/2003
Cute. A new chapter would be cool... One thing: England doesn't have an Ivy League, it has Oxbridge. And _that's it_. Obviously, there are other university's, but when compared to Oxbridge, they just don't, um, compare. I go to Leeds Uni, by the way, and disagree with the aforementioned statement entirely :D
| kyraille fade chapter 2 . 2/7/2003
Ah, drunkenness is always the time to make major philosophical points. Or lack therof. The footnotes do get annoying because doesn't let us link to them anymore, but they added to the fic anyway. ::claps:: Tres bien!
| Val Mora chapter 2 . 1/20/2003
Wow. Fun romantic-style interaction and a major philosophical point, in two chapters. I'm quite impressed. Is there any more of this, or is it over? I hope there's more...
I adore how you have all the little smart footnotes at the end; they're very clever. _ This is wonderful!
| Mang chapter 2 . 11/13/2002
Really, really good stuff! I like how your style is sort of a tribute to Pratchett/Gaiman without being amatuerish. Don't know how I feel about the pairing, but you've pulled it off beautifully.
| Bobcat Moran chapter 1 . 11/8/2002
At the risk of sounding like an absolute nut, I am absolutely unable to read this chapter without hearing Boris Karloff's voice. Just imagine it narrated by him.
