I really like the haruno clan there all really interesting characters and I love the difference between main and branch family and the dynamic between them.

I'm really passionate about Sakura-Centric fanfics. I literally have 600 Sakura related fanfics saved waiting for me to read them. I've read more than a thousand fanfics starring Sakura since I started reading fanfics, but "The First Flower of Spring" always comes back to my mind, and I feel the need to reread it because I love that story so much. "Five Kingdoms for the Dead" is phenomenal, perfect, there's nothing like it. "Kill Your Heroes" is fantastic, and I'm reading it too. But "The First Flower of Spring" is that story that captivates your heart and you keep thinking about the thousands of possibilities that could arise in its development. You are my favorite Sakura-Centric author, and I can only thank you for sharing such incredible stories with us. I don't know you, I know absolutely nothing about you, author, but I'm definitely your fan. Here, in Brazil, know that you will always have a big fan!

Just want to take a moment to say I really liked the subversive cycle you had going on here with the Haruno bloodline thing. "It's not the weapon that does the killing, it's the wielder" is a really common refrain you hear in all sorts of places, and flipping that around so that the weapon is in essence the conscience striving to guide the decisions of an amoral-state wielder was just a really fucking cool twist.

I'm not looking to beg for a new update to something you probably lost interest in a long time ago, but I really wanted to let you know that regardless of anything else - that concept was just really fucking cool.

Also I really liked Sakura's conversation with Itachi. "Why did you stop?" and the lines that followed hit pretty damn good - incomprehension, into understanding, into something that might be jealousy was such a strange sequence of emotions to channel, but it worked really really well. That conversation was possibly the highlight of the story for me.

Bruh you can't just dip on a story like this...come back!

You can already guess my favorite character in this story... Anyway, hope you are doing well, Author. Your story holds a special place in my heart and there are times where I remember the words written here, no matter the length between reads. Your writing is life changing, in the same way doing mushrooms for the first time is life changing. A simple morsel, slowly digested, and your brain explodes with beauty and introspection. I hope you still write, even if it's little snippets on your notes app or written in the margins of books. Thanks so much for putting this beautiful piece of fiction out into the world. I owe you a lot for that.

Been 8, almost 9 years. This is leaves too strong impression and I love it so much. No one else has ever written a better Sakura Fanfiction. This is so original, so well-plotted, I love how frickin cool Sakura is. The POVS are done super well. And Shiki is an amazing character that is extremely likeable.

It's been years since I read this - I truly cannot believe that this is like a remnant of my childhood. Little bits and pieces have stuck with me through the years and when I really think about it I'm surprised at how much this impacted me. I originally hated Sakura as a kid and I stumbled across this story when I was beginning to realize that the issue I had wasn't so much with Sakura as a character but with Kishimoto's writing of female characters. (Although I didn't so obviously see that was the issue, but I did start to get a feel that something else was wrong beyond Sakura.) It was incredibly refreshing and even inspiring to see where you brought Sakura and the journey you set her on. It kinda opened my eyes to that fact that there were no limitations when it came to what you could write a character to do or be (especially a female one). This fic definitely raised the bar out of how I expected fiction to treat female characters as well as how I expected people to respect women in real life. It's warming to see that you're still writing fic and for Sakura. (I'm still in fandom spaces, too!) I will always have so much love and appreciation for this fic. (Literally, I had such a crush on Jun, omg.) I won't lie, I'm sad to see that this likely won't be completed, but I'm grateful that you still have it available. Even if you have no desire to return to it, I would appreciate it dearly if you even just listed bullet points of tidbits and plots that you had planned. Thank you for writing such a story. :)

Hello! I reread your stories constantly but I recently downloaded the app and starting listening to it audio book style (which really makes all the deadpan dialogue and passionate dialogue a wild time since it is said like Google translate and no punctuation is mentioned). when listening audio book style, it also reads all the author notes which has really brought a new dimension to this story. Realizing that just Sakura's missing parents started this is sensational because you are can read it as a nature vs nurture. Either way, I've been reading for years and don't think I've reviewed. I love your character developments because you think of everyone and that you can write multiple POVs since those are amazing!

My favorite part of your writing is that all characters have dimension and you think about how they'd react. There is actual logic! I also can't stand rewatching the series anymore since I can realize how irrational it is for ninja to act like this. For a military based government, it drives me nuts but your writing and thought process let's me enjoy the story without going crazy with secondhand embarrassment.
