Just about six years late here... but I love this you for posting!

The very obnoxious clothes are obviously part of the punishment to teach Danny that he really needs to lean on his Ohana as much as they know they can lean on him. Very enjoyable story with Steve getting to do the ranting for once.

I know I'm several years late but I loved this. Danny is so hot but he's also a very complex character. I also get the impression that he is used to being the strong one and the problem solver that everybody turns to for help. Later seasons confirm this with stories about his family in NJ. Nice work.

I surprised Kono got Danny those clothes. That is a Steve move.
But at least Danny is Ok and will be now that he has his friends to help. AND it is so him to keep something like this to himself.
