This story is over 10 years old, and yet so much described in this chapter describes what we're seeing happening in Palestine now in 2023. Your descriptions match the imagery found in videos online. Truly harrowing. The speech Bella gave about not just retaliating against other innocent people, the views of so many people right not.

This story is so well done, you would literally just have to change the names and publish it. it's great!

I want to say from the bottom of my heart, this is absolutely one of the best fics I've ever read. I know that I am very very very late to the party. But some of us out here are still reading fan fiction! This is perhaps the most original work I have ever seen. It was well written, well thought out, exciting, sweet, poignant, and best of all Edward had a tail! Love love love love love! I cannot recommend enough.

But I still wanted to reach out to let you know my thoughts. A week or so ago, I started to watch Avatar for the first time in an effort to get ready for the sequel. I didn't get to finish the movie but of course, the big blue characters and the tails reminded me of your fic so I went back to re-read it. And I enjoyed it even more the 2nd time around. But what really hit me was OMG! Your story, written over 10 years ago, was almost a foreshadowing of what has gone on in this country in the past six years. I'm not trying to stir up political controversy in my review, but seriously, this just hit so close to our reality! I even thought that Edward's fever at the end was a foreshadow of what we went through in the pandemic. WOW! SO SO amazing that you wrote this way before any of that happened. I find Alice to be rude by barging into their home uninvited every day and not giving Bella and Edward privacy. It also rude to barge into someone’s home while they’re sleeping.

I find Alice to be rude bargain in their home uninvited and coming to their home uninvited when they are on their honeymoon. Also Alice had no right to call Bella dumb when she didn’t know that Edward was posing, fact that she still learning their costumes.

That story was totally far out, pun and idiom intended. I can't say that it makes the least bit of sense (especially the part about earth women being genetically compatible but still requiring genetic manipulation?) but fortunately it doesn't need to. It was a great example of the space opera genre. I almost never do this, but I would like to recommend that you look up a series of books on Amazon by Michael R. Hicks called "In Her Name" you might really enjoy them.

My dumb self didn’t pay that close attention to Edward’s description and pictured him like the Alien in the movie Alien. Upon reread I realized my mistake and when I tell you it makes a lot more sense now how the species are compatible
