| GeorgeBoo chapter 21 . 1/22
I laughed, I cried, I aww'ed... I felt horrible anger towards McGonagal... And that's basically the best way to describe how I've felt reading this story.
I honestly, really enjoyed it. I loved how sweet Severus is to Harry and how... Just everything about Harry, honestly, and I kind of miss the awesome do he had in the beginning... It was rad. Aside from Harry, and Snape, I also loved Hermes, hence why I viciously felt like beating up McGonagal... As someone who is genderqueer and usually loosely identifies as male, or male-ish, hearing McGonagal call Hermes a MS. pissed me off, because you always respect someone's identity, and you respect their right to be called whatever pronouns they wish, to be called any name of their choosing, and to treat them as you would anyone else instead of acting as if they're some spoiled child for defending and having their friend's defend their identity!
Oh, and what was up with the baby? I couldn't get it at first but if it's a major plot point, I guess it makes sense?

"I just wanted him miserable.. not, you know, messed up." That line got me the most so far I believe. Looking back on all of the different pieces of fiction that I have read, there have been so many of them where he was downright miserable. In this one however, it really does show how he might have been if something had realistically been taken too far. The brain is actually rather fragile in extreme conditions, and brain damage in his situation would not be all that far of a stretch so far as I know.
It almost sickens me, which is quite something.
So far as the rest of your story goes, I really have enjoyed it. Though, I admit to not reading the whole thing and focusing on the parts of the transcript that interest me. It takes away from the depth of the story, but eh.
Thank you for writing this, it is quite insightful. I've never read anything from the perspective of a transgender person before, so it was informative.

Re: Slytherin theories, one very favorable to Slytherin suggested that the plan to let Muggleborn students into the school originally involved kidnapping them from their families, and Slytherin left Hogwarts in protest of this practice. It would make some sense if morality is disregarded: non-magical families would have no way to transport their children to and from the school in the days when few were lucky enough to have horses. That assumes that the community does not kill the child for witchcraft. And that the parents of Muggleborn children were willing to send children that had, against difficult odds, survived long enough to work with their parents, away for most of the year. Children they loved, and likely did not want to see become part of a world completely beyond their understanding and of which they could never be part (and whose representatives may have seemed like diabolical tempters sent to lure their children astray).

Why is Prof. McGonagall always made out to be some sort of misguided person or "bad" guys in your fics?
In burnt, she acts like a stubborn old lady. Of that, I have no doubt that she is. However, I would've liked to believe that she would've seen her he was sick.
In this fanfiction, She refuses to take Heermione's (a.k.a. Hermes') opinions into account. She refuses to listen to multiple people and Snape's own report that Hermione wished to be born a male. Why must you always make McGonagall out to be bad?
Also, you've never given an explanation for your split from Canon. Most AUs give an explanation for their split. Why is Harry brain-damaged? What happened differently from Canon? And why did Hermione choose to be transgender? (or at least wishes to be) What caused her to become a pyromaniac? What happened differently? I do hope that would be explained soon enough.

Sappiness overload! There was just so much lovey dovey goodness. I quite enjoyed it. However, I did get a bit sick of it at the end. It was still sweet, though.

The dancing tree was rather random. Although, it does do a good job of showcasing Harry's unique power.
Also, I was wondering about the blue dreadlocks for a while. I guess I have my questions answered.
I must say, I am quite enjoying this story so far. As of this chapter, you are now on my followed/favorited author and followed/favorited story.
I must say, the idea of a brain damaged Harry is quite unique. Where ever did you come across such an idea? Also, I don't believe I've ever seen a transgender Hermione. Bravo once again!
