The Exploracores, Glados, everyone! Too many emotions here. I can't handles these feels! This story is wonderful!

Aww, such a cute moment between Wheatley and Chell. And, BWAHAHAHA! I love Chell bossing the hell out of Announcer. It just made my day.

Oh no! GLaDOS!

Exploratory Cores! What a great concept. Actually, loving most of your Original Characters so far. Quite a change from the usual Mary Sues that find there way into fanfiction. Finally, thanks for sending us to a different part of Old Aperture so we can enjoying temptin buttons and new Cave Johnson lines.

Wonder what Wheatly will think when he finds out what a tosser is?

First, Rich hitting on GLaDOS is so much more fun that Rick hitting on Chell. He'll have to settle for his bear arms. Also, you can't fault GLaDOS's logic for keeping Wheatley around. Finally, the Fact Core must have seen the same 80s Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commerical that I did. The one where one astronaut got his chocolate accidentally mixed up in the other ones penaut butter.

"She's an unstoppable killing machine, the most dangerous human that I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. She never, ever gives up. And you just put her in charge of the whole facility."

This one section some it all up nicely. There won't been any of Wheatley's buffoonery to rely on to save the day. Chell is just so hypercompetant. GLaDOS really has her work cut out for her.

Wow. Turning Portal on its head like this make Chell all the more creepy. And Wheatly's lack of tact would definitly land him in hot water with Chell. He's basically abandoning her at a point when she is probably more than a little freaked at her current condition. Finally, we've never heard Chell's voice so using the anouncer as a surrogate was perfect. Reading dialogue is so much more effective when you can imagine the voice that goes with it.

And here it is, the chapter I've been waiting for since you told me the backstory of your Aperture... and it doesn't disappoint at all! I should point out that the dangling plot threads you laid throughout the chapters before this were very well-done, now that they've come together. This makes me want to go back and read the whole thing through again to see what I might have missed!

Gotta love GLaDOS's sudden understanding of Chell's situation. Just as much as her acceptance of Wheatley, I love seeing that progress in her character. She is such an incredibly difficult character to pin in writing, and an even more difficult one to 'change' in a way that feels natural and not ridiculous, and you've done a great job with it. Even if it's temporary (?) or just because of Caroline.

I loved and then quickly mourned the Fear Core. Poor guy! Great dialogue, though. And "The Happy Man", my god, even that name just gives me a shiver. I think it was a great choice to use a seemingly unreliable narrator to give some pretty important plot information. That and GLaDOS's disjointed memories... very intense. Your story really has it all-action, humor, and quite a bit of drama, but you never go too heavy on any of those aspects. You keep a good balance of them all.

The Announcer is a hilarious and freaky villain, and I can't even say how much I love his dialogue (or monologue, in this case). So great!

And I'm pumped to see what happens next!

Eee, loving the story more and more as it progresses. It's really become such an interesting little world with all of the new and unique concepts you've introduced and the original characters you've used. And you always keep things moving at a great pace, never lingering too much on any scene or topic, giving the whole thing this great, frantic atmosphere to mirror all the trouble the characters are getting into.

Also, I continue to really enjoy GLaDOS's gradual grudging acceptance (maybe even.. perhaps.. mild appreciation?) of Wheatley. It fits well, given that GLaDOS was able to overcome her sheer hatred of Chell in the game to form an alliance with her against Wheatley. Seeing this opposite side of things is a lot of fun. I find myself wishing I could go back and play THIS rather than the game just because everything fits so perfectly into the Aperture I know and love. The dialogue, the action, and especially the humor-it all feels just like the game, which is so impressive to me!

PS I feel like you should go back and give titles to all the rest of your chapters (if you can?) ... it feels a little odd to suddenly have titles for these but not the previous chapters.

I LOVE IT! Exciting, an interesting new back story (although I haven't played Portal 2 yet so I wouldn't know if you learn things then) and Chell fits with her image, I think. Update, I beg you! WheatDOS?

I'd just like to say that your story is one of my favourites. Incredibly well-written, amusing when it's needed, witty and clever and wondrously imaginative. I love this idea you've come up with, that Chell is put in charge of the facility, that the Announcer was once a person, and that GLaDOS and Wheatley are placed in the testing robot's bodies. This is, altogether, absolutely brilliant! I'm greatly looking forward to your next update.

I'm really enjoying this - it feels very true to the original story, and I like the new additions to Aperture. Figures that the Announcer is corrupt too! Maybe GLaDOS was doing pretty good at only 80%.

MAAAAN this is your best chapter yet in an already awesome story! Loved the big reveal, the dark bit of fandom in-joke with "Steve." Exciting and sinister and intense; appropriate that GLaDOS was in the hero role since she's been the one to grow the most throughout the story. And fear core, oh fear core...

You just keep stepping up your game and I love it so. Big finish is going to be big.
