I cry. This is so beautiful 3

I know I was warned. . but you still made me cry.

I really do want to enjoy this story, but Ailie's behavior keeps throwing wet water on it. Snape didn't do anything to her other than save her life, then finally defend himself when she kept attacking him and he needed to get her to listen. Yet he's at fault? I thought we were moving the narrative beyond it, then this again. "I owe you and I will pay you back for what you've done to me. And I can steal your wand. Ha!"

For a Harry Potter story, there's just been too much focus on a made up character that is neither Muggle nor Magical. She just doesn't fit, & bringing her back in so many times as immature, unreasonable and bent on a baseless vengeance makes her the villain, not a protagonist. I hope to see some character growth in Ailie that earns her that title, or more of Snape & Hermione instead.

This was an interesting story, and definitely different than other stories I've read. The ending was a bit bittersweet but lets be honest since the story started before the war something had to happen, though I admit I'm bummed she didn't work a way around it, but that is life.

I hate this epilogue. I mean, it was well written and all, and I'm sure they could find a cure, but seriously, this ripped out a tiny bit of my heart.

Anyway, enjoyable read.

I really loved his tactical use of the teacher voice to get her to stand up. Ten points to Slytherin.

Is it totally against feminism to like a possessive man? Not like, abusing you type of possessive, but more like can't stand to have other men touch you possessive.

Snape really should stop being so damn nosy. He might not have read her list and talked himself out of a great relationship.

I should really take the research approach to all my relationships. Seriously.

That really was a cowardly childish thing for her to do. Sometimes running away can be the best thing to do in the moment, but not after amazing sex... unless you're in some romance movie.

I'm not completely sure what happened here. I guess her virgin blood is involved. But how did she disappear from the bathroom?

Yeah, I've learned, through trial and error, that you cannot change a man. I knew this going into adulthood. The concept having been put forth by many a woman, but nothing is as good a teacher as experience. And I hate fanfic Hermione (or even canon Hermione in relation to Ron), who questions why Severus Snape can't just be nice. Either take him as he is or leave him be.

Is it me or does it seem like this isn't going to turn out well. Maybe it's the fact that there are ten more chapters to go and Hermione went from nightmare Snape hurting her to reality Snape kissing her immediately after.
