Teobi chapter 1 . 2/8/2012 I have no idea how I missed this story. Only one thing to do, and that's put you on Author Alert! - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. That's like, one of the most haunted places in America, right? Good start. - OK, I just did the biggest double take. "Don't look so disappointed Johnny," Gordon teased, "we all know you have a thing for that new technical assistant at the Sydney office." John protested, but Gordon continued, "what's her name now, hmm, Jessie…Jennie…" "Julie," John corrected. - JULIE? That name sounds familiar. Oh, yeah- it's mine! LOL. I'm sure you didn't name her after moi, [blush] but all the same, John and Julie has a nice ring to it. **sigh** Poor John, though. Left behind. Someone always gets to stay home and lounge by the pool! "This is a rescue, Gordon, not a sightseeing trip."- LOL, Virgil. Why can't you combine both? Educational rescues. - Alan is in TB5. Sulking because he can't go to Gettysburg, and then cheekily telling Virgil to be careful landing TB2. *sigh* - Gordon senses the weirdness as soon as they land. Virgil, being artistic, notices how the colours have dulled. I've watched lots of Gettysburg ghost-type videos on YouTube and how people say there's always ghostly soldiers around. Nice story, Chrysexanthe. The Gettysburg ghosts kept the building from collapsing until IR got the children out, then both sides, [Union and Confederate] kept watch over TB2 until Virgil and Gordon got back, and all saluted to acknowledge each other. Lovely ending. Sorry I missed it first time around. especially with John having a girlfriend [nearly] called Julie. That made my night :) |
