Okay, I read through this eagerly and intently to see what would happen next. . . . . . and got to the end and thought "wait...what...I'm confused". But then I remembered the chapter 1 A/N where you said that this happens right before "It's A Terrible Life" and then it all made perfect sense! :D
This is very enjoyable and intense and is definitely one of my favorites! Great job on it.

Loved this story! Almost makes me wonder what would have happened if the episode had followed this line?

As someone else already put it in one review, I do blame Bobby, too. Not as much as Sam, but anyway. Bobby just make things worse for people and his character is just getting more and more annoying to me. But Sam is/was really an ass. Yeah he was addicted to the demon blood, but I think that this is absolutely no excuse. You wrote a good story so far, but it just didn't feel right to end it this way.
I enjoyed reading it and thank you for sharing.

Wow, wow, wow.
This story was so fantastic, I can't believe it. I get to the end, wait, the end? Arghhhhhhh! You did it to me again! I was so confused, how could this be the end? how? wait, there was something in the A.N... 0-crap.
I could so have done with lots more of this story. Yeah, I grudingly concede it was a great bridge to the next episode, but I still don't like it. I mean, I love it, but I don't like it. :D
Great, great story (except I still want more).

I finally realized that I had not read the rest of this story.
It is really frightening how badly the brothers had got out of touch with one another before Castiel's boss stepped in and sent them to be ordinary workers who did not remember each other.
Bobby shooting Sam with the salt gun because Sam was totally lost in his power rage and killing Dean was really awful. Sam was truly lost while addicted to demon blood.

This is a good picture of how down Dean must have been while healing from his experience with Alistair.
| Queen Bee chapter 14 . 11/13/2011
For goodness sakes, who could possibly blame Dean for wanting to walk away from all of them? Not just Sam, but Bobby too...his bedside manner sucks. I always found it kind of odd how he could be so abrasive to Dean when Sam was the one who needed to be chewed out. I think that Season Four was when I began to actively dislike Bobby's character...the man had no compassion for the one person who at the time desperately needed it.
You're doing a very good job keeping everyone in character. Sam WAS very arrogant and nasty during Season 4...some writers tend to want to forget that and pen him as a total victim. You haven't done this and it makes your story more believable. Dean was falling apart, from his PTSD that absolutely no one wanted to help him with, and from guilt, and the sorrow over his brother's treatment of him. Sadly, the writers on the show decided to have the other characters, including Bobby, kick him while he was down, because he had the audacity not to put everyone else first for a change and have massive issues after being in hell for 40 years. I always thought that it would have been far more realistic to have Dean walk away from all of them than to have him be a doormat. I also like how you showed Sam's remorse after his 'high' wore off.
Great start and I look forward to reading more from you in the future.
