This is absolutely amazing! I've read this story four or five times now, and it doesn't matter that I already know what's going to happen. It's still just as great every single time. I love this so much!

A classic sign of extraordinary fan fiction is the ability to attract and engage readers who aren't familiar with the genre. THIS is extraordinary. I've never read Mortal Instruments, I don't even remember the summary I just read on Wikipedia, but I feel compelled to read your fic because of how magnetic and engaging your prose is. On a more personal (and selfish) note, my writing is in a massive and demoralizing rut, and I've been hoping to find fanfic authors whose style I want to learn from. You're on that list.

Only one thing I'm miffed at, and this is not your fault in the least: I read your author's note at the bottom. This chapter piqued my interest and raised many questions that I was looking forward to answering, and your author's note spoiled one of them for me. Then again, I'm sure I'll have many more questions, and I will look forward to seeing how your story answers them. I just have to make sure I don't read too far down the screen.

Gotta be honest, you should have just titled it "The Consequences of One Night and a Door." It would have communicated the main storyline much clearer. Instead, we're left wondering what the "nine consequences" are. Sometimes wordplay works, and sometimes it doesn't, like in this case.

A 15 year old getting pregnant by an 18 year old, that doesn't sit right with me.

I read this story a million years ago as a WIP. I am currently re reading some of my fave fan fics so Ike here again… and damn this one kills me. Clary and Jace are just the best. And seriously, clary is soooo mature. I love how she’s handled everything. And jace. Swoon. Their relationship is ahhhmazing.
I don’t know if you read reviews anymore, but I figured I’d let you know that this fic is an all time fave :)

After all the circle of drama it just ended like that. What a scum. I can't even imagine them being together forever or getting married because of their toxic and messy relationship background throughout this story. They're on and off which is toxic and clearly the type of relationship that doesn't last. They will eventually break up for sure cause their relationship is toxic and they're both look so depressed. So I think they're probably no longer together now. RIP

I realise it’s been years since this was written and completed. And I have no idea if you’ll see this review, but I need to write it anyway.

This story was incredible in every single way! I have read a handful of TMI fan fictions since reading the books because they were such a big part of my life I was too scared. But I came across this and I a sold on alll TMI fan fictions now! This story made me cry and I do not lie when I say that has never happened to me before. This was stunning.

This is such a satisfying end, so wholesome. You can feel the love emanating between them.
I think that image of Jace holding a tiny LJ to his chest, rocking him, pressing those tiny kisses to his head. It just warms your heart.
This has, honestly, helped soothe my soul. I needed angst and growth and passion and healing and that is exactly what I got.

Wow, just wow.
I remember the first time I read this my heart was in my throat and it is no different now, after I don't know how many reads.
The hair cutting scene is so perfectly simple and it just sets the tone, leading perfectly into the hearing.
I'm so relieved the judge dismissed it without any hesitation, the personal way he spoke to Jace and Clary was just lovely and you could feel his genuine remorse for their situation.
Nothing could have prepared me for Clary's collapse, but, at the same time, nothing has been easy for these two so why would the birth of LJ be any different?
Stephen holding onto Jace and just helping to ground him in that moment is just perfect.

It's all building up to that dreaded trial but there is still plenty of Jace and Clary time.
I really liked Luke's speech and how it made Jace reconsider how he views these new people in his life.

So much emotional development here and I love all of it!
That picture of such a beautiful touch too, they've known each other forever.

As much as I'm disappointed in Jocelyn and how long it took her to step up for Clary, I love the scene of them rocking on the porch. It just feels so right.
I liked Jonathan calling Clary out too, it was harsh but I also think it will help Clary open up. They've all made mistakes and they just need to learn to let each other back in.
Even Jace is gently guiding Clary to give it a go.
