That was good. You nailed Moriarty. It is so very him to have headquarter in the middle of London, where everyone can see it !

I love your Moriarty. He's just so... perfectly, delectably evil. I also enjoy your Sebastian, too (though admittedly not quite as much as Moriarty). Moriarty knows how to get someone on his side, as he aptly shows here. And it's a good thing that he does, too- Moran is a dangerous enemy. They have a similar desire not to be bored, though not quite as similar as Sherlock and Moriarty. That's why Moriarty and Moran can work together.
Sorry, rambling. I so enjoy your work. Truly, I do. - Can't wait to see what you write next! ;D

very, very interesting. though i always imagined their meeting in a different way...
first i was a little confused what had happened to seb, but you explained it later in the text. and, now that im thinking of it, the confusion was very fitting regarding sebs state at the time...
and moriarty would have shot him if hed stepped out of the dooor, wouldnt he?
| Catch18 chapter 1 . 11/19/2011
Guh-huh still brilliant. *facepalm* The name should have occurred to me though...

Oh, I loved this look inside Moran (and, of course, Moriarty). Beautifully done and thoroughly chilling. The comparison of Moriarty to the cobras Moran saw when hunting big game was marvelously true to ACD canon, and I found myself genuinely admiring Moran's nerve.
Beautifully written. This passage, in particular, go to me:
He let that roll around in his head for a moment, let the soft voice caress his thoughts, wondered whether perhaps this time he should permit himself to feel the faint stirrings of fear always denied.
Time to die, Sebastian?
"Tell me," he said instead, bravado marking his decision not to go down gently.
So, so perfect, that Moriarty's invitation would include killing a man, dumping his body out of a chair, and offering the chair to Moran. This has changed the way I think about Moran (I hope BBC's canon is as compelling, because I'm spoiled now), and it's going to be haunting me for a while. Well done indeed!
