Oh, I loved this! Perfectly in character, and the pacing is very Rowling-esque- slow build-up, until everything starts to snowball, and all of a sudden you actually notice the clues that had been under your nose the whole time.

Snape's POV, and his interaction with Harry, were both especially good- I love the part about 'wear a pair of socks, and he decides you're decent,' and the lecture at the end sounds like it might actually have gotten through.

A wonderful read. And the last scene was *perfect*!

That was a wonderful story, truly brilliant.

Loved the entire thing.

Amusing story, decent characterization, nice structure-and check it out! Spelling and grammar! It's sadly rare to get stories like this, but it does make me appreciate them all the more.

It's over? I must admit, I'm somewhat unhappy about that. I assume that skittles is the wizarding equivalent to chicken pox, and as one of the oh-so-lucky people to have had chicken pox 3 times and shingles once (and I'm only 22 years old!), when Hagrid came into the quarantine room and said he'd had skittles before, I honestly expected him to become one of the unfortunates. Sigh. Oh, well. Ooh, was that a run-on sentence? *shrug* Can't be bothered to fix it.

And in case you're not familiar with shingles, consider it the adult version of chicken pox (same virus, but it takes up residence in your spinal cord). Itches like the Dickens, but the outbreaks are more controlled. Supposedly, you can't get it more than once, too. I doubt I'll be that lucky...

And since this a review, I should probably say something about the fic, right? Me likey! Very funny, and I liked the whole Harry attempting to get along with Snape. It was in-character to me, but it's been awhile since I read the books. :-)
