This was really sweet. Its a little sad that it takes the end of the world for Andrea to realize whats really important, but I'm glad that she found what she wanted with Daryl. I adore how sweet Daryl can be when he tries, him bringing her flowers was so perfect. :)

I had a thought just the other day that I'd love to see an Andrea or Daryl birthday fic, and then I finally had time to sit down tonight and peruse the Daryl/Andrea tags here and found this. And it was *so* much better than I could have imagined!

I absolutely adore the comparisons to "before" and "now," seeing parts of Andrea's old life, and how she's ultimately content with Daryl. And the last line was so sweet and perfect.

Favoriting this one for sure, and off to read some of your other work!
