Wonderful! They had all the estate workers and their families for a meal, and explained about James. Didn't Jessica assist in the house/private quarters earlier in the story? And didn't one of them go in and out rooms when Edward heard but didn't see them? I remember thinking someone was spying on them, and he voiced the same concern or thought about nosy servants. SURELY Tyler isn't one?! No...

I wonder if Bella is thinking about teaching the estate workers' children. That would be a wonderful idea.

Finally! Bella is again well, up and about, but it will still take time for her to fully recover. Edward loves her so much!

Ohhh...the missing and illustrious Mr. Smith shows his face. He was hired as a stone mason, or just another grounds keeper? In the middle of winter, on Christmas Eve? Either way, why is he back at Collingsworth? To try and steal from the new owners, too? Won't he get a HUGE surprise?! I'm glad Bella recognized him and mentioned his name to Edward.

B&E's love life has certainly proceeded forth rather quickly once the ball was over, and ever since. ;) Good for them! Maybe Bella now accepts that she has a permanent place in his heart and home.

As for Rosethorn... :P And good riddance to Tanbitch, too!

Oh! You wanted to know how we knew to read this story. Several factors. I've seen your name on fb as you are friends with some of my friends so I've been curious but in the middle of other stories. But the one that got me here is your story, "He Came Along" was listed in the poll of Top Ten Completed Fics for January 2017 on twifanfictionrecs dot com. I read that one (LOVED IT!) and just started reading your other stories and one shots. TADA! :)

The ball was perfect! The evening was a success, Bella was definitely the Belle of the Ball, and a beautiful one, too. To those who left after their entrance and announcement I hope she puts them in their place if they ever comment to her about her new and present station in life.

As to the nasty coldness of Tanbitch and Rosethorn, to hell with those she-devils. I hope Bella lets Edward know what transpired, and that he does not catch himself in their sticky web of deceit. Ick.

I have read "he came along" and 20 chapters into this story i can't find myself to read the rest because it's too familiar.

Nuh unh...Bella cannot blame Edward for knowing about the lack of annulment when she has done everything not to be with him the past three days for him to tell her! She needs to put on her big girl bloomers, admit she loves him, get over her insecurities, tell him what Rose said, and then together they can decide what happens with her father. I hope Edward has the balls to get her to see all this.
