It's good that Bella has awaken and is recovering from pneumonia. It was rather touch and go there for a while. I loved how devoted Edward was every step of the way. Alice was such a great help even in her state.

I am glad that Edward didn't allow Rosalie an easy pass because Bella rescued her daughter and that his sister and brother-in-law agreed. Rosalie dragged her feet with this apology and I hope she's not easily forgiven. I am glad Bella is willing to hear out though.

What a cliffhanger! It's good Bella recognized Mr. Smith and told Edward before he got a chance to get her alone.

The search to find young Emma had me hooked to every word, especially as the weather changed. I loved how each step escalated the suspense and created new problems. Bella truly demonstrated her affection for young Emma as she freed her from the dangerous circumstances she got herself in and made every effort to get her home safely, even at her own peril. I was so relieved when Edward was able to locate his wife out in the cold. Now, we just have to hope he was not too late.

It's a shame that it might take this sacrifice for Rosalie to genuinely apologize to Bella. Bella shouldn't have had to prove her love for Emma to be accepted. Rosalie really should have made every effort to set things right after learning the truth about her cousin's claims.

I'm glad Bella found a way to interact with her father and that Edward got to see Charlie in a better light. It's good that she's preparing herself for the inevitable and was able to take comfort in her husband.

Aw, poor Emma being alone and out in the cold. It's good that Bella knows those grounds as well as she does, but with the temperature dropping, I hope they are found soon.
