I really liked this story! Though I must say - some parts of the last chapter were quite painful.. my heart ached. I'm SO glad the ending is happy. I don't think I could take it if they had split..

Okay. So. I have a few things to say.
1) Congratulations on writing one of the best stories I have ever read. Really. I'm not even kidding. This was FRIGGIN AMAZING.
2) How dare you make me cry? I'm kidding! (well, I actually cried, but that's a success). I read this story, all of it, today. It took me a few hours, but I did it. I'm ashamed to admit I just spend the last two hours not even moving from this place on the lounge. And this is the /only/ time I have ever been this dedicated to a story.
3) I'm not creepy. But I love you, and I love your writing. After this review, I am going to go stalk your account and read your stories.

I really enjoyed this story. It had all the elements I admire in an episode of Supernatural and one of my favorite pairings, Dean and Castiel. The plot was in a word: remarkable! It was so well-written that I had to suggest it to my friends and even my sweetheart, but he's a straight arrow so that's not happening...

I was completely addicted to your story. I was drawn in by the very first chapter and hook, line, and sinker. You kept all of them in such impeccable character and even though you were worried about your typos, your story is so drawing I overlooked them, hell, anyone would.

I suggest anyone who is a fan of Dean and Castiel, who're just scrolling through the comments to READ THIS! They will not be disappointed. This is one of the handful of remarkably written stories on fanfiction and I would gladly reread it, over and over again!

Just... yes. Oh my goodness gracious yes. The way you tell of their sexual ventures without being all "and then he put his mouth on the other guy's dick." and made it sweeeeet and fluffy and added a touch of... ah how do I describe it. Soft bitterness? Grey? Shadowy but not? It was wonderful.

I felt like I was peering into their life and witnessing it, but not intruding. Not being a character. Maybe floating nearby and emphasizing, but not being. And the soft-but-aching romance was so REAL even though it ended happily.

A lot of fictions (fanfictions especially) can never pull this sort of thing off. It's always too serious, too soft, too fluffy, too obviously fake-sweet, too out-of-character. You managed it. Dean's denial and reluctant-but-not paradoxial mindset and Castiel's understanding-but-also-really-confused mindset were great! Most people never get Castiel's confusion just right... or he'll get some phrases for no reason and then wonder what the hell that last sentence meant.
This fanfiction left me feeling achy, warm, not-so-bitterly-sweet, saddish, peaceful, moved-and-settled, and much more like I just closed the pages of a wonderfully parchment-scented book than most. Closing it off with a final resolution, knowing that no relationship is perfect and there will still be trouble along the way...

It gave me the willies. Not shivers or tinglies, but more like light dancing prickles every once and a while and a thoughtful mindset that may or may not have me daydreaming/writing about Destiel or other pairings I can imagine as aching-but-in-a-good-saddish-way-sweet.

Thank you for this lovely piece of art, regardless of whether it was a tender work in the making for years or just a story popping up randomly staring at a salad on lunchbreak.

Keep writing, especially if all your work is this good.
