I watch Bones! I completely forgot about this storyline. And yes, you're right. Now I'm also wondering why no one in the Covert Affairs fandom has attempted a crossover with the two shows since the they're both located in the D.C. area. Until you, that is.
I love it! I could see this conversation taking place between Auggie and Angela. I could even see Auggie insisting he accompany Angela back to the Jeffersonian. Good one about Booth and Auggie's Army connection. This is really well done.

You managed to crossover my two favorite TV shows with my favorite characters of each, and you did so beautifully. Your portrayal of the characters was spot on and this was a wonderful little mix of these two different characters from two different worlds.
That was a great idea to have pregnant Angela meet Auggie. Loved it.

PERFECT CROSSOVER IS PERFECT. Angela is my favourite character on Bones! :) what a cool idea though, and they are both perfectly in character. And Booth being a legend. now I'm imagining Joan meeting Cam and having a fashion showdown ;)

I would love to see a follow up story with them meeting up in the park. And maybe one about them finding out about Auggie being CIA.

I was led here by another writer's list of favorite stories, and I am so happy that I found this delightful one shot. I am not usually a crossover fan, but this one was a perfect link up. Both characters exist in the same location and the same time period, and have a good deal in common. We now know that the baby was born sighted, but having met Auggie would have been very comforting to Angela before the birth. I think you found the right voice for both characters, and their conversation was perfectly logical and enjoyable. Thank you for a most entertaining story.

Aww! That was very sweet and nice! Great story!
| Phosphorescent chapter 1 . 2/15/2012
This story flows nicely, has good characterizations, and treats the Bones 'blind plotline' with sensitivity. If you ever end up writing a follow-up, I'll definitely read it!
| Amilyn chapter 1 . 1/25/2012
Nice job. It's always a treat to read xovers where the author is clearly equally familiar with and fond of both sources. I think you particularly captured Angela in her frank expression of her concern that her comments or observations might be "stupid" or impolite. Nice job on Auggie's POV, too. Thanks!

I really, really like this, even loved it. I hope you do decided to write the follow up sometime, i would love to see more Auggie and Angela.
