| ForeverFallen76 chapter 1 . 12/1/2011
I see no reason why Naruto and Neo Uzushiokagure would stick their necks out to help Konoha...none whatsoever! Granted, the complete conquest of a nation, by another nation, live the surrounding nations troubled. Reason being? Knowledge and wealth. There's tons and tons of knowledge in Konoha! So much so, that only one man truly ever knew most to all of it, Sarutobi Hiruzen. So, the only way that Konoha would be saved, is if they make a desperate gamble; something right up Tsunade's alley. They will hand over every single jutsu scroll and scrap of knowledge that Konoha has, if Naruto and company stop Hanzo and Ame. Knowing Naruto, he'd take it, but he'd make it worth Hanzo's wilds to leave Konoha alone.
How? Simple, Naruto collects every single scrolls Konoha has, and he will know if anyone is lying through his Rinnegan, catalogs them all according to rank, affinity, specialty, and so on. Then, he calls the leaders of Iwa, Kumo, Kiri, Suna, and Ame, there he splits up the scrolls accordingly, each to be copied before they meet back a year latter to rotate and do the same until everyone has a copy of said scrolls! That would do several things. One, it shows the other nations that Naruto believes in truly forging peace and letting bygones be bygones. As he had no need to call them and offer them this. As it should have been between him and Hanzo only. Two, he believes in sharing knowledge and being fair. Three, he effectively just strengthened the bonds between the six nations to levels beyond what they ever where. Four, it utterly kills Konoha! Why allow them to go out with a bang, when you can kill them slowly, allowing them to go out unheard and uncared. Utterly humiliating!
Five, Ame has the most to effectively 'lose' and 'gain' in allowing this. As all of this knowledge would have been theirs anyway, unless Konoha decided to destroy it all in spite. So, they would be placing a ton of trust in Naruto to do what he claims. This also allows Ame to have a solid footing with the other nations, which is something Ame has never had. They were always the battleground for such wars. So, this would allow them to move the 'battlegrounds' from their homeland, to Hi no Kuni instead. Again, much more humiliation for Konoha this way. And this also allows the people of Ame to have some much deserved stability, as long as this Hanzo doesn't start killing his countrymen like his ancestor.
Anyways, great chapter and I look forward to your next update. Later.
