You seem to be afraid to diverge from canon. It's really hard to believe that all of the events will play out the same with a far more competent Naruto.

I'm really hoping we'll start to see some actual divergence next chapter, but I doubt it. I get the feeling it will go exactly like it did in canon, only with Naruto using different moves.

I never understood where they get the idea that Jiraiya would be capable of protecting Naruto from the Akatsuki during the time skip. Hidan, Itachi, and Kisame - maybe; but any of the other members? No way.

If the Akatsuki ever seriously went after Naruto and Jiraiya, they'd have wiped the floor with Jiraiya. Pain alone would be able to defeat him. At least in Konoha, there would be a chance with the other elite Jounin and Tsunade.

Just giving Naruto new techniques doesn't really change canon - you're sticking way too closely to what canon was, too.

How is sparing haku and zabuza mature, that is childish if this were a fic like maybe mha where killing is frowned upon then is could have been mature but no he is immature he didn’t think long term if he were to kill zabuza and take the swordmassive pay check.
