Just read through this fic. I loved the foreshadowing (I'm a sucker for it) and character development, particularly the side characters such as the twins. Thank you for writing. Looking forward to speeding into the next year with Rigel/Harriet!

Good stuff. Shows its age, but holds up nonetheless. Can't believe I never found this story in eight years of reading fanfic.

Whe Rigel meets the twins at the stairs, George (?) Refers to her as "she" was that a type or was it meant in a sarcastic way cause Rigel look like feminine boy?

Ok, so Pettigrew has joined Tom's political party, what exactly has happened to Regulus? Since Tome went into politics, I imagine there are no horcruxes, so what happened to Archie's uncle?

And I thin Rigel's deceiving look is just hilarious. This fic has just the right amount humor

Oh, I didn't see that with Flint coming but it was a great surprise. I like your characterization so far although I don't really like Pansy, I usually prefer one of the characters befriending a Slytherin Harry who weren't given much focus in canon since that gives you more freedom to play with their character.
I'm curious about how a friendship based on lies will develop, especially with Pansy. I have the feeling that she wants way more than just be friends.

About the symbolism in Snape's speech, I don't even see it as canon so I don't mind it being included. But I am curious about Lily and her education. Did she go to America? How? In canon we are told that a teacher from Hogwarts will visit muggleborns and explain their magical talents to the parents but what about this universe? I think it hard to imagine that the American teachers would travel all over the world so that mo muggleborn witch or wizard loses their opportunity at a good magical education.

So far, so good. I really would have liked more background information but maybe more will be explained later. If muggleborns were banned from attending Higwarts during the Marauders' era, then I guess that Lily did not receive a magical education. How did she meet James, then? I like the premise and I'm currently a big fan of fem Harry fics and it gets even better if Harry is sorted into Slytherin.

Phenomenal book, and excellent, reeaaalllllyyyy excellent plot twists, characters, pacing, and execution. I loved the firestorm, foresters, forewords mentions, I'm not sure if there's any deeper implication or meaning behind them but I love them nonetheless. I can't wait to read the sequel! 3

I honestly love the bond Cho and Rigel share, it's so wholesome. And I bet Snivellous sees a bit of Lily in Rigel, though Snivellus don't know it because he thinks Rigel really is a Black. I'm happy he's indirectly mending a broken perspective.
