Oh a marriage law that'd 'force' half-bloods to marry pure bloods and lose all your money or leaves you alone all your life. Or you know, just move out of the country I guess. Don't get me wrong, it's corrupt as hell, but at this point it'd become a real question as to why the hell people wouldn't just leave.

Wait she's risking her soul for the sake of this ruse? That's quite a bit more intense than I thought it might be, especially considering the problems that WILL inevitably come up as time passes. Wow.

Well I've thoroughly enjoyed this. An engaging story from start to finish. The idea of Riddle the Polly is an excellent one for spinning out an AU.
Lee Jordan was an unexpected opponent, but one that made enough sense within the context of the story, although I think his plotline would have sat a little smoother if there had been some foreshadowing with an early mention of his father's malicious pranks.
The world building on magic is an interesting take on the idea that magic is a little bit alive. That Rigel managed such a notable piece of wandless magic at such a young age is normally the sort of thing that would concern me for how far it steps from canon. However the whole wandless magic thing isn't something that was well built or even really explained properly in the books and has some points of contradiction. What is Apparition if not wandless magic? Bah and humbug on that lacklustre piece of work by JKR. Anyway. With that in mind I can't fault you for changing it, and Rigel's ability does flow well from what you've built up with the idea of imbuing potions (which was another good one), as it seems to be something that comes from a unique perspective and not a golden protagonist halo farting it out.
Apart from those two points I've got nothing to critique. This is a great story, with fun characters and a delightfully original premise. I have some washing to bring in off the line, but I'm diving straight into the sequel once it is!

The newest chapter update of TMM has made me need to come back and start the series all over again. I love how deeply I fall into this story. Just 3wanted to comment because I had a good laugh and Rigel telling Snape he wouldn't regret it, considering where we're at in TMM. Not that I think he regrets it per say, but gosh does Rigel put that man through a lot lol

they're discussing unseating Dumbledore i expect...

Super fun fic that throws canon out the window and brings in some much needed Alanna. For someone who has read many many fics this is a rare feat. Sorry for not reviewing every chapter, will try to do more in future, you've done wonderfully.
