I love Zacharias. There's probably a reason he's so stingy. Is the "Meg" you mention Megan Jones, felloe Hufflepuff in his year? I hate that JK Rowling said he ran away from the battle. Then again, Jo DID have the entire Slytherin house evacuate, so none of them stayed behind to fight which annoyed me, since that just promotes the theory that all Slytherin's are bad. Ugh. Great story.

I love this. I am the one in the facebook group that asked for this though, which makes this even better for me.
Other embarassing assumptions could be made. True, very true.
Surely doing dishes wasn't that unusual. See, always something I laugh at.
Parents are capable of communicating with each other. It always suprises me, actually, when my mom tells me something she learned from so-and-so's mother.
He did get a lot of grandkids, that's for sure.

it sucks when kids realize parents aren't all-knowing gods full of magic to make everything ok...
sucks even worse when parents realize they can't protect their kids.
never in a million years would i wish that on my worst enemy.
still, love the "they're twats" joke. cracked a smile in a sirius situation.

Smith ran, if I recall correctly. Somehow I doubt his parents are likely to be as supportive as you show them. Keep writing though, still good.
