| Elpinoine chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
This was wonderful! I felt like I was listening to M'aiq. The end was particularly funny. Thank you for the laughs!
| Eipok chapter 1 . 12/13/2011
I loved this, especially the last line. You totally nailed the general Khajiit personality, with their meandering contradictory speech and their inappropriate use of third-person pronouns. Highly amusing and thoroughly engaging. May you further strive to not be disappointing.
| Duroflo chapter 1 . 12/12/2011
I loved this, you really captured the way that Khajiit talk, I really could imagine this story telling happening.
| Lord 0f Storms chapter 1 . 12/8/2011
Hah, I adore this! M'aiq is written so perfectly! And I love the final line about skooma. Why doesn't it surprise me that M'aiq has a bottle ready for story telling? And I think I'd just love it if he turned up to save my hide. I think I could've used that fire-up-the-nostril trick the other night when an Elder dragon goggled my character up and spat her out.
The little observations of M'aiq are very charming too - like the bit about carpenters, lol. And how the roads are paved, but the Nords responsible wouldn't allow poor old M'aiq into the hall to hear it.
| Durandal II chapter 1 . 12/7/2011
I didn't think it was possible to capture the character of M'aiq so well. The best part is that it is in such keeping with the character. I hope you do something with him again.
| BlazeInfinity chapter 1 . 12/7/2011
Wow, this really, really well written, I do think. You got into character perfectly, and that character, more than anything, kept me reading.
| Twylyte chapter 1 . 12/6/2011
A very interesting story. This one is impressed at the way you show how Khajiit see.
| chausettes et chauseurs chapter 1 . 12/6/2011
Hahaha M'aiq! That was a beautiful tale. I could honestly imagine M'aiq with a younger Kahjiit sitting around a fire as he wove his web of fables.
I loved every sentence!
