Wow. Missed this one somehow in all my browsing, until now. This is lovely and true and made my heart do something funny there at the end. Really, really good. Thank you.

| Lucifer's Garden chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
Sweet Jesus, why did it take me so long to find this? Well, probably because I didn't see Andrea's name next to Daryl's and my inner fan girl was like "LOL DISREGARD".
But I'm glad I came to my senses and remembered that anything written by you is bound to be a treat! Once again you nailed Daryl and put to shame all of my own attempts at getting inside his head.
I especially loved the last line about him learning how to be a man, because it's so true and you summed him up perfectly :).
Excellent as always!
| any mouse chapter 1 . 12/10/2011
fantastic and wonderful, love the language you use and the feelings you evoke.
| rozozzy chapter 1 . 12/8/2011
The world needs more Darly/Carol~
| AmbrosiaD chapter 1 . 12/7/2011
Holy F*** that was good! You had a great theme and you stuck with it and the story was really tight. Amazing! And lots of good lines (better him leave now than them leave later, etc.). I think I have writer envy now. ;) Thank you for the great read. Keep writing!
| Shipperwolf chapter 1 . 12/7/2011
I love this.
I love the little glimpses at Daryl's childhood.
I love the mention of Merle seeing a 'challenge' in Andrea.
I love Daryl's memories of his mother before her death.
And I love his resolve to accept Carol's place in his life.
I LOVE THIS.
Can you tell?
