| Les Lapins Mauvais chapter 1 . 4/9/2005 Absolutely hilarious! My favourites would probably have to be Jane Austen (the Indy marries the Renown! Yay, femslash!), Hamlet (delightful tight naval uniforms- great, now I can't read the ending of Hamlet without laughing) Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Is it scary that I can actually visualise this? Probably...) And I should stop before I list them all. How about a Music Man ending? Archie enters the courtroom, and is about to take the blame. Pellew: But where is the band? Suddenly the door is flung open to reveal the sailors of the Renown, led by Matthews and Styles, carrying musical instruments. Archie: What the... (It's been a while since I watched the film. I'm paraphrasing.) Horatio grabs Pellew's gavel, and hands it to Archie. Archie: Now, think, men...think! He starts to conduct, and the sailors start to play a beautiful, tear-jerking rendition of 'Rule Britannia'. Bush: That's my Styles! Hobbs: That's my Randall! Everyone is so proud of the band that the mutiny is forgotten, and they all live happily ever after! |
