Wonderful! This was just great. It’s so hard to chose favorites, how about the Austen, the Star Wars, Hamlet, and Fangirl (and boy) endings.

Oh, dear god, I laughed so hard I nearly fell off my chair... Especially like Monty Python ending. Whew. How about a Harry Potter ending? Hehe.

Archie: Horatio, you are a wizard.

Horatio: I'm a what?

(Pellew appears dressed as Dumbledore, and is fighting Sawyer, who is a face plastered to the back of Hobbs' head. Horatio grabs Hobbs, he screams and disintigrates, and all is won. Horatio returns to Archie, to find that Dr. Clive has cast a Bone-Healing spell upon him, and all is better.)

I was hysterical the first time I read this. Why couldn't they have picked one of these endings... much more satisfying than having poor Archie just kick the bucket like that.

We all know it shouldn't end *that* way...too right! This fantastic list, however, at least gives us a chance to laugh at our own misfortune *g* I laughed, and stayed laughing, two weeks after I read it the first time (the review function wasn't working then) and I'm still remembering it and emitting inappropriate noises in public places...My favourite one? Impossible to say. How about a 'Gone with the Wind' ending:

Horatio (after Archie snuffs it): I'll find a way to bring him back! After all, tommorrow *is* another day!

(cue courageous, epic music etc)

I like your Scooby Doo ending the best. By the way, have you seen the new Scooby Doo movie? I did, only because Rowan Atkinson (Blackadder) is in it. And since Blackadder and Hornblower are two of my most favorite series, I simply HAD to write a crossover fanfic which you'll find at:

lol. Absolutly hilarious. My favorite had to be the disney ending. Capt. Pellew leading sailors in a tap dancing routine! Even my grandma laughed.

Good grief, where the hell were you when they were writing the screenplays for Mutiny and Retribution? So funny, all of them much better then the actual ending except for the fact that A&E actually managed to write a tear-jerking death scene...

Especially liked the the Salvador Dali ending:

"Horatio has turned into a woman and Archie into an eider duck called Percival."

Melting clocks are so much bloody fun!
