OMG yes just yes there needs to be more of this paring. They are so sweet together.
| ButterscotchCandybatch chapter 1 . 9/7/2013
Mmm, this was hot too - I like it that Greg and John are so straightforward with each other. Makes a nice change in this fandom!

I've always had a part of my heart that shipped GL and JW, this was written amazingly, and I truly love only your writing because it is spontaneous and always moving. Keep writing! :)

| Sunshine Through The Storm chapter 1 . 5/27/2012
See, now I'm interested in Sherlock's reaction when he gets out of hospital :D After he screams at Mycroft for having him knocked out for at least eighteen hours. John and Lestrade do make a great couple though. They're not one of my favourite pairings, but I can see the appeal. They're a good match for each other.
"Though he said he was fine the doctors disagreed." - Did John disagree too? Sherlock always gives him the last word in medical matters with all his doctorly training and army surgeoning. I always love scenes with Sherlock in hospital. He's like the worst patient ever - I don't blame the doctors for wanting to knock him out. They just used Mycroft as an excuse.
"He focused instead on the skull sitting on the mantle. (Really, Sherlock had a fucking skull... did nobody else think that was weird?)" - Yeah, it's completely insane, but so is Sherlock. It was his best friend before John, because they all need friends. Even the great Sherlock Holmes.
"'How could I not?' Greg said. 'You're handsome, smart, funny, and you live with Sherlock; you're practically a fucking saint.'" - Everything you're saying is absolutely true, Detective Inspector. He must be a saint for putting up with body parts in the fridge and bullets in the wall. Not even Mrs. Hudson can do that!
On a slightly random note, I loved the summary. "But he's not complaining" sounds so Lestrade-y, and it's what pulled me in. So great, this one. Absolutely brilliant! (last part to be read in Arthur Shappey voice :D)

Wow, you're certainly prolific at the moment. This was sexy and unexpected and hot. It's fun to play with different pairings. :)
