![]() ![]() Excellent. Thank you. Very well written. |
![]() ![]() ![]() JA's Elizabeth is strong-willed and intelligent. The Elizabeth in this story is immature, disrespectful and acts pretty stupid (/I know intelligent people can act stupid too). In the books she dislikes Darcy because of his remarks at the assembly. Everything is colored by this until his letter. I have no idea why she dislikes him in this story. One thing still universally true nowadays is that the less money or power you have, the more your manners need to be impeccable. I. e. in the book the only deliberate rude people are miss Bingley and Lady Catherine. They have enough status to do so. In this story Elizabeth is more like miss Bingley, rude and disrespectful to those she deems beneath her in this case her boss. Can I just say she needs a new job! The story Wickham tells her is in a modern setting fairly easy to verify. She chose not to, making her look rather silly. Anyway I have some issues with connecting this story's Elizabeth with the original. BUT that is my issue. It is obviously not up to me to decide how your modern Elizabeth is. So despite this not being a story for me, I still like to thank you for posting it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() J'ai beaucoup aimé mais jai été déçu quil ne sais pas passé plus de choses avec Wickham. J'ai trouvé le coup de l'enlèvement drôlement rapide. Je suis rester sur ma faim |

![]() ![]() Good idea for Collin’s background |
![]() ![]() That was a super, super story and I loved every word of it. Well done |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very good story |
![]() ![]() While the fanfic is great in general this chapter shows how inmature the author is. No adults act this way... I hope it doesn't go on and I'll be able to continue |
![]() ![]() ![]() I hear many who own those grand old homes don't have the funds to keep them up. It's good Darcy grew his family business to wealth! Emotionally, Lizzy is immature, but she'll get there. |
![]() ![]() This was a really good story, well-thought out. The references and winks to the original story often put a smile on my face. The perfect read that acts as a warm blanket on rainy winter days. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() Loved this! Sweet, witty modern take on Pride and Prejudice |
