Some fun hijinks and interactions. Emiya has Caster and Rin double teaming him... Dojima and Satsuki kind of look on as everything happens. Overall, a great way to revive this story.
Nice to see Caster, Rin, and Shirou planning ahead... of course, knowing how grail wars tend to go, their plan will be shot to hell, but having a plan in the first place is nice because then we get to see it ripped to shreds. I wonder... if Satsuki can learn to activate her reality marble, that would be perfect for absorbing the mana...

IT'S ALIVE, ALIVE!
| Ramax Viscurio chapter 34 . 5/23
Glad that your still alive and kicking. I was afraid this would become another dead fanfiction (Rest in Peace Nerve Damage and all Others)
It was a interessting chapter (shipping getting more intense) and i can't wait for the next one (watch our Caren, hopefully Ciel or Bazett are close by ).

I really liked this arc I think you did a good job at it

HE'S ALIVE! What a treat to have an update to this. Kind of a transitional chapter but good characterization as always, and the always fun banter between everyone. After reading your author's note, I do think some timeskips will be beneficial to you in the future if you hope to finish. You've been writing this story for almost 6 years now, which is just an incredible length of time for a fanfic.

An update finally, I thought it was abandoned

I personally think the pacing fine

You know, it might be possible to use the knowledge of attaching souls to matter to create a safety net of sorts.
A pre-primed Lich's phylactery of sorts.
Enchant the device to catch a person's soul at their time of death, then repair the corpse or build a new body to house it once again.
They'd have to be willing to wear such a thing, and know about it's presence or the risk of the phylactery becoming cursed and their new body taking on said curse would likely go way up, but... it might work.
It might also be possible to construct a net around the grail so even if one of the Servants died, they wouldn't be sucked in. They might even be recoverable.
...Though... isn't that what the Akashic whatever does? Every soul returning to it upon death?

I can't recall why, but I remember this chapter making me recall that I also thought that the cycle of Rin's Archer teaching Emiya Shirou even 'some' of his skills...
Oh yeah. That's going to go runaway on Emiya's power levels pretty damn quick.
If that's your intent, and coupled with what I've seen of a couple of LessWrongs stories, and their favorited stories, your current portrayal of Shirou, and some of the dreams you've shown him having...
I had never considered how he might react to meeting the one corrupting the grail until now.

I don't know if this would fit your stories or character's tone but when I was playing DnD and looking for ways to gain a lot of power as soon as possible, I noticed that the price and time required to make a item decrease the more body slots it took up.
So I figured that if I enchanted something which covered almost every body slot such as a body stocking or footy pajama's...
For various reasons I never got to try, but imagine if you had a backpack full of these light-weight, magically enchanted under-clothes and something which allowed you to switch them out at will.
...Which probably wouldn't work in your universe since I don't think they have teleportation. Folded space, yes, but not teleportation. So switching them out in a moments notice wouldn't work.
Plus, I doubt this universe would give the same price and time benefits DnD would so unlikely to be any gains there.
Too bad. The surprise factor gained by being able to hide which enchantment bonuses you're currently using due to your clothes covering which body stocking you've switched to probably wouldn't be a small thing.

You know... I find myself wondering what the Rule of Blood could do for Yumizuka personally and to vampirism in particular. Especially if paired with Medea's earlier enhancement.
Could it remove a vampire's instinctual viewpoint of humans as food? Would there be too many side-effects like Guilford's original design?
How fast can it's healing ability make blood?
For that matter, what happens if you overload a vampire's hunger/need/? for blood? Normally I imagine that would require a horrific situation, but if the Rule of Blood can heal a person fast enough, a container either large enough or made of folded space was used, and a method for at least temporarily increasing the rate at which blood was absorbed but not used...
Would a vampire explode? ...Or something far better so far as Yumizuka was concerned...
Likely the best that could happen is the near removal of vampiric hunger by implanting a small device into her which injects a constant stream of blood teleported from a central or connecting container. Or perhaps transmutes water or wine in the stomach into blood from a dna imprint in such a device?
...Or maybe food...
Probably requires lots of prana or od though.
No. From what Medea said when she did it, that would probably be very dangerous for everyone unless the population of such user's was "very" limited.
And that probably means such a high level secret if that even if it worked, the Church and Magi alike would bury it, Yumizuka, and everyone who knew about it to prevent other vampires from learning and using the technique to both support vast armies and harm their enemies at the same time by draining a leyline...
Which they wouldn't do because it affects them in some way adversely or they'd have done it already... Except human blood is their food... But if the blood creation engine worked...

THANK THE GODS THIS UPDATED!
Holy crap. That bastard actually has a daughter...
On another note, it really is getting interesting again! Then again, this story has always been interesting, whether or not Shirou is fighting or is being teased by his harem. I really can't wait until Tousaka's shell breaks and when Sakura makes more appearances. There's still so much to this story and I'm so happy about that.
Anyway, apart from my usual comment about a few mistakes relating to "tough" and "though", and "him" and "her", and some missing words such as the "in" in "faith you", I would just like to say, hope you're doing well irl and that I could read again from you soon!
I'm really going to have to reread this fic to remember what has been going on...
