Poor Daryl, awesome insight though. Loved it.

Wow, how did I miss this? Seriously, this is great. Such a realistic look inside Daryl Dixon's head at that moment. Awesome job!
| rasmizar chapter 1 . 12/24/2011
I love "five hundred days", and I never had the feeling that there was something missing (and there isn't really, because it's Andrea's story). But now that I've read this, I can't believe how I did not have the wish to see Daryl's pov before.
Daryl doing introspective crap. The bits of his sorry childhood, how he sees his not-relationship with Andrea, his fears, how he deals with them... This is such a great look into Daryl's mind, love it. :)
(any chance of more companion pieces like this?)
| Lucifer's Garden chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
I can't get over how well you seem to understand Daryl's mindset. I struggle so much to get inside his head and 'hear' his inner voice, but you have such a good grasp on him that it makes me SICK. In a good way, of course ;).
Once more, beautiful work here. STOP IT ALREADY.
| C P L chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
Nice little insight into Daryl's mind about being told he is gonna be a dad. Great job :o)
| Mysticism chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
oh this was sad... good, but sad. xxx
| 1701dragonflies chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
Oh I like this honey! Nice little insight into Daryl's mind and background. I particularly liked his revelation at the end that the baby is an opportunity for him to exorcise the ghosts of his past and prove to everyone, including himself, that he can do this, that he has to be able to do this. Lovely, just lovely! Really looking forward to the next update!
| cemeterydreamer chapter 1 . 12/22/2011
You have no idea how excited I was to see this posted! I LOVE companion pieces D
Not to mention, it's fantastic to get a glimpse into what Daryl was actually thinking/feeling after Andrea dropped the bomb on him. I think you hit the nail on the head, with his frustration and his insecurities and fear. The bits of his background story are just heartbreaking and really makes the reader feel for him even more.
This was such a nice treat; I'd love to see more companion pieces for other chapters if the inspiration hits! ;)
