Damn. What a beautiful story. This could quite possibly be my favorite Link/Midna fic to date. I honestly love it T_T
Thanks for writing this story.

This is probably exactly what would've happened had Link been able to reenter the Twilight Realm. One thing that too many people do is make Link talk a lot. Once in a while is fine, only in significant situations, such as a climactic ending, otherwise it just makes him seem really out of character.
| Makokam chapter 1 . 6/19/2013
This was awesome.
Plain and simple.
It's depressing how few good LinkxMidna fics there are. Even the most favorited are dull. But this was beautiful.
Not quite what I was looking for when I started poking around for LinkxMidna fics, but still one of the best I've read.
| Madzilla1010 chapter 1 . 6/11/2013
This my friend was really beautiful! Your characters stayed true to the video game's and I apreciated Midna's inappropriate timing with her sarcasm. :)
Link was very believable as well.
| ryabusha chapter 1 . 5/19/2013
I fucking loved it. 'Nuff said.
| CrimsonMoon24 chapter 1 . 5/6/2013
Oh I wish I could run my fingers through Wolf Link's fur right now. That being said, this is a story worth a whole lot more than just reviews and favorites or follows. It needs to be in a hall of fame as one of the most beautiful oneshots of the fandom!
| IVIaedhros chapter 1 . 2/23/2013
'brought a smile to my face. Thanks for the read.
| ShiftingWinds125 chapter 1 . 1/17/2013
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
I was sad when I finished this game. I really wanted Link to go with Midna or something.
Thank you for writing this. XD It made me very happy to see they get a happy ending. _
| shattered petal chapter 1 . 1/12/2013
Very powerful, and gorgeous. Excellent work!
| Insane. Certifiably chapter 1 . 12/11/2012
Somehow, the line that struck me the most was "It[his smile]'s not one that anybody from his other life would know. There's too much shadow and fang, too much wolf. But it's all him." It sums up very well how much he changed.
I liked the metaphor of Link being the sun and the part where he explained how he could never have gone back. You showed excellently how he's a wolf underneath everything and the imagery was beautiful.
It was a great look at the way things should have gone, packed with such emotion.
| Abysswalker Grey Lord chapter 1 . 10/4/2012
,,Dear god. I'm not crying. I'm not!
...Maybe just a little. Instantly faved.
| SkywardDiamond chapter 1 . 6/30/2012
Oh, goodness, what to say about this fic?
There's too much to say, actually, so I'll have to sum it up without rambling :p
First of all, from the very first line, my eyes were teary. This fic hits you in the face with emotion, but in a good way. The whole Link/Midna dynamic is supercharged with emotion, for me, with the way that TP ended, and all. And this fic definitely captures that edge.
The way that these two interact and treat each other is just too perfect.
The teasing and the sarcasm from her and the loyal fierceness from him is so fabulously spicy. I especially love the way you subtly describe their lovemaking. It's but a single line, yet it's so powerful that it leaves you thinking "Wow!"
Not only could I comment all day on the tone and imagery of this fic, but there's plenty to be said about the writing, your style, your mixture of simpler sentences with abstract ideas. It takes planning and intuition to achieve this level of balance.
In fact, I feel that every line of this is perfectly put together, like nothing needs to be added or taken out. It says just enough, but not too much. It's very to the point, yet is contrasted by strikingly beautiful imagery. The contrasting of light/gold and shadow is just lovely.
This wasn't fluffy either, which I love...
I adore Link's speculation, when he confides in Midna, telling her, "What would I have done?" It all makes perfect sense, and he truly never would've been happy no matter where he chose to go. This makes me feel even more crappy about the ending of TP, but oh well, lol.
And what a wonderfully happy ending. Midna's fears were for naught.
This is one of those fics that ought to be commented on line by line, and I probably would, but there's a word limit. :p So, nicely done all around.
