| Beth Anders chapter 1 . 4/28/2013
I love your work! You definitely deserve more attention with the obvious time and effect that goes into your stories-this one included. You have such a unique way of telling stories, I really enjoyed it!

*whistles* This is huge for a oneshot. I'm only halfway, but I am reviewing in advance because I know I probably either can't be bothered or won't have the resources to properly review and thank you for writing this wonderful piece later on when I finish it. Eventually. :P
So, um. Thank you. This is beautiful, wonderful yadda yadda (more adjectives that describe its utter awesomeness here, please :3) and I can only hope that you'll continue to work in the Inception fandom which has probably waned in its boom of popularity... Meh.
Eames and Arthur are absolutely beautiful together, and there is so much between them. Even in canon.
And - oh, I want that sofa.
Anyway- tahnk you very much for writing this, and I, haha, look forward to finishing it :D
| Reim Oarse chapter 1 . 9/20/2012
Fantastically written. You obviously have a very firm grip on the English language and the characters are well within the realms of canon, personality-wise. I love that I don't feel the need to facepalm at any time while reading, which happens too often when reading a fanfic. Thank you for sharing this.
| Renn chapter 1 . 8/13/2012
Loved this. Thoroughly entertaining, deeply captivating and incredibly well written! (And loved Saito's "involvment"!) But most of all, never a dull moment, and quite a few 'egde-of-my-seat' moments! Thanks for writing and sharing! :)
| Guest chapter 1 . 8/3/2012
Wow, let me tell you that this is probably the best piece of fiction i've read in a very long time in
| NineteenTwentyone chapter 1 . 7/28/2012
I really enjoyed this story. I loved the plot, the characterisation and the description, but I think my favourite thing was Arthur. In a lot of Inception fics I've read I've never felt that the author gets Arthur's personality right. He always ends up too girly, or sappy, or shy and bashful, and they seem to lose sight of the meticulous, almost control freakish attitude to life that makes him Arthur.
I like how he took a 'holiday' but actually couldn't stand it and really just wanted to be working. I always thought that Arthur would have been a bit pissed off with and at a loss without Cobb after the film, and you showed that really well.
Eames was, of course, perfect. He's Eames, how could he not be?
| kitkit11183 chapter 1 . 6/19/2012
Eames. Of course he lied. His characterization was wonderful, as with Arthur's. Arthur on an extended vacation makes for amusing thoughts.
| SeppoSade chapter 1 . 6/4/2012
| LuvaGoodMrE chapter 1 . 4/22/2012
Why doesn't this have more reviews? It's glorious. Seriously.
| Lunicole chapter 1 . 4/5/2012
You have no idea what this story did to me. I loved it on so many levels, the prose, the little sarcasms and the structure of it, Arthur and Eames flying around the globe to find each other, each place changing them a little.
I might be repeating what other reviewers pointed out but the characterization was flawless, Arthur felt so real, with his need to compartmentalize everything ins his life, pedantic but at the same time complex, interesting and somehow endearing, far more than the tip of the iceberg that the movie let us see of him. His relationship with Eames is worked with care, the story isn't rushed, there's a clear and consistent evolution. It just was perfect.
Oh, and the Cambodia part. I refuse to believe that you've never been to South East Asia because I could feel the humidity of the air as I read, taste the spice of boiled beef and the odd taste banana leaves give to rice. The details where astounding, I hope for you that you either went to Angkor or, if not the case, you will go given the amount of research you've done.
I also love the fact that you've given the side characters consistency, not making them completely bi-dimensional. Dom as a happy father, Saito and Ariadne ; It really helped creating the ambiance, making the whole feel realistic. It got me interested and I especially enjoyed that brilliant bit with Robert at the beginning. You worked really well Arthur's first relationship with Colin, not making a caricature out of it, and it helped to point out why is Arthur the way he is, and why he couldn't get himself to be with Eames.
So, em, yeah, I really liked it ! (That was rather long, oh dear...) Thank you very much, this is going in my bookmarks for many other reads !
| SuspiciousFlower chapter 1 . 3/28/2012
This is amazing, someone should take this and not change anything and then make it a branch-off of the original movie and everyone will agree how fabulous it is.
| SweetChi chapter 1 . 2/11/2012
This was very, very well written. I'm extremely impressed. I usually like a bit more action in the fics I read, but you still managed to keep me completely enthralled. Your descriptions were perfect - easy to imagine without going overboard. The characters were both in character, and you even managed to show a softer side to Eames without making it seem out of place. Thanks so much for the hard work you must've put into this and thanks for sharing it with us!
| sanctuary-in-dreams chapter 1 . 2/7/2012
This was BEAUTIFUL. I love how strong your character relationships were, as well as the very well thought out your plot was. The tension and the ease of Eames and Arthur's relationship was played out very well - their whole relationship was a joy to see unfold. :) I completely adore your writing and your characterization (fluency and consistency) and the conflicts you presented for them. Excellent job!
| xXxStarStrifexXx chapter 1 . 1/23/2012
I really enjoyed that :)
I loved the ending too
| CatarinaRites chapter 1 . 1/13/2012
this story deserves so many more reviews, and so much love.
It's marvelous, so well thought out, and so much better than most of the Arthur/Eames stories here! I love it to bits!
Thanks for sharing it!
