Thank you so much for sharing this incredible story with us.
It is so beautifully written and perfectly captures the emotions that I know so many have gone through. Thank you for sharing this humour that you need in a time like this, I hope everyone going through such a devastating illness has an Edward and Angela with them.

Thank you so much for taking me along on this journey with you. I've enjoyed the ride. You're a talented writer and a heroine to the rest of we women. Now, I'm off to bed. It's 1am. Good night.

:) a baby with those green eyes and Edward's hair.

My hubby is looking at me like I've grown another head. I just told him to ignore me, as he wouldn't understand. I knew this day would come, and Bella did what I probably would also do. She gave in to the pain. Angela knew...And she did what she did best. She some to Bella at a level she'd understand and respond to. The eulogy was beautiful.

I'm guessing you used medical marijuana, based on the story and your location. If you did, good for you. I believe politicians and so many others are so hell bent on the word and concept of marijuana, they can't see any benefits. My hubby has offered more than a few times to find some illegal pot for me, when my pain is too intense. And I'll admit, I have smoked weed from time to time, and it's a huge help. I've been on oral methotrexate, and low dose chemo for my disease and it sucks. I got awful mouth ulcers and nausea. No major hair loss, but it did fall out in places. Lortab 7.5 5x a day sucks, and I hate taking the pills just to function. My state isn't legal for pot in any form. I'm proud Edward finally lost his cool. He needed that off his chest.

Wow. It's amazing what we can talk our bodies into. I'm so glad you found a measure of relief by vacuuming. And by massaging your tissue and telling your body to stop misbehaving as it healed. Because Edward's concoction if beetles, roots and cow piss would've really been a nasty drink. Yikes.

And now I know. Angela isn't going to make it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. Sometimes you're just too tired to fight anymore. And a high Bella is an amusing Bella. Had a morphine drip after two surgeries. Best stuff ever.

I'm so glad you had someone to voice what you were unable to. You are a strong and powerful woman and the epitome of grace and strength. I know this, even if we've never met. I feel bonded to you by the telling of your story. When I began writing, I did the same as you, I wrote what I knew. My first fic was about Bella learning to love herself, and fall in love, all while battling chronic psoriasis. I've been living with adult onset chronic psoriasis covering 75% of my body, and debilitating psoriatic arthritis affecting most of my major joints, muscles and tendons beginning at the age of 27. It's not cancer, but it has been a disfiguring painful process that will likely take away my mobility before I'm 50. I live each day as large as I can. I'm so happy you are cancer free, and spreading breast cancer awareness. I'm adding a link to this fic to my blog, for others to read. It's that good, my friend.

Very few fictional stories have reduced me to tears. This is one of the few. So very sad, touching, and awe-inspiring. Such courage.
