|Reviews for Practice to Deceive|
| LesleyLunaCullen chapter 21 . 8/2/2016
That was a good chapter, he is finally seeing and not trying to manipulate for his own benefit. I still don't get a warm and fuzzy that Bella is capable of forgiving him but him wanting what's best for her to me, is step one. He still wrapped up in himself but he is learning and I liked that he stood up for himself too. He might be whipped but he isn't acting like a complete ball-less wonder. That was cool too :)
| LesleyLunaCullen chapter 20 . 8/1/2016
I'm so glad that Bella waited till the last day to confront him and what she said hit the nail on the head "he always has the right words (lying or truth), that would be very hard to come to terms with in the trust department. I still think he is too wrapped up in his "feelings" and only looking at what he wants versus what's right for Bella. He has yet to tell her "I only want what's best for you and you deserve so much more than me but you gave me something I never thought I could have and I want that forever but I know you deserve that perfection that I didn't give you" something like that...it's just I want I want I know I know...he should be saying a lot more "you" versus me me me but Bella is being strong and I love that because after each conversation, he seems to grow so I am hoping to see some major growth in the next five months or she should dump him
| LesleyLunaCullen chapter 19 . 8/1/2016
I think it's pretty big of Bella to agree to see Edward at all so for him to "assume" that means he gets 2 weeks with her? His ego needs to take a backseat and I hope seeing her and talking will give him a reality check because he just seems so out of touch. He has to accept that there maybe nothing he can do to gain forgiveness versus trying to find the right words to get what he wants. Right now, it's about what Bella wants and needs and I think that's what I would want to see. Acceptance and being accountable. I am looking forward to this conversation because I don't think Edward is going to be able to manipulate this meeting to his high expectations
| LesleyLunaCullen chapter 18 . 8/1/2016
I don't think he has changed! It's still all about him...it's been 24 hours and he is sitting at her door? He keeps going back to "I was going to tell her that day" but since X-mas when he decided he didn't want to end things and according to the timeline, that's 4 months. Four months of this possibly happening because anyone could have said something to her. Maggie could have tracked her down, Jared could have slipped, Jane could have heard a rumor. I don't know if you are trying to make the readers feel pity for him? But, I feel none. I feel like he is self centered and always thinks he is right. I also think back to what has been said about Maggie. EVERYONE in his life hated her yet he thrust her upon them because of God knows what reason so to me, this story goes so much deeper than a lie. Edward has a shitty character and HE needs to fix whatever is broken in him and quit pulling everyone into his every whim and desire. He is not a nice guy, he is the guy who he expects everyone to orbit around. It's pretty sad that his best friend had to show him what a tramp Maggie was because obviously his entire family, Rose, and his friends words meant nothing to him. The only thing he has gotten right is that Bella deserves better, and she does! She doesn't need to be with someone who has a HUGE EGO and low self esteem...bad combination
| LesleyLunaCullen chapter 17 . 8/1/2016
Man, the more I think about it, he should lose her forever. I read this a long time ago and re-reading it, I just can't wrap my head around Bella forgiving him. She was DEVASTATED by the guy in AZ that she never slept with and only had known for 2 months? I just can't see her finding a way back to Edward when she is such a negative, untrusting person who lets few people into her circle. Yes, it's sad that it came to this but as all your quoted have shown and even Edward always knew, it would come to this because he built a foundation with her on lies. Bella is the victim in all this, not Edward and for him to be a puddle of self pity is retribution. He is no different than Maggie and Jake with his "good intentions" have led to this moment. If I were Bella, I would be back in Phoenix so fast he wouldn't know what hit him!

Group hugs! Can honestly say that I'm going to miss these two for a very long time. I couldn't put your story down much less stop to send you a review. I even tried to hide in the bathroom so I could read in peace which I wouldn't recommend when there is a thanksgiving dinner to be made.
