This definitely made me happy! Mission accomplished! :D I laughed all the way through reading this. Scout and Dill are absolutely adorable together, and Jem is hilarious. I thought all the adults' reactions were priceless. Mr. Arthur's, in particular, was very touching. :) Lovely fic!

| orangepumpkins chapter 1 . 4/2/2012
that was /very/ cute and now my cheeks really hurt from grinning so much.
i'd just like to mention though that the language is a bit weird. for example, it seemed like you were trying to speak in the small southern town dialect with the "reckons" "yonders" and all that jazz, but part of the time, you were also using relatively modern language or words in the modern way...and now i apologize for that horribly long run on sentence. :)
