Favorite line had to be
"You have the maturity level of a sixteen year old boy. I always say that Azkaban emotionally retarded you…"
I was dying. Lol

wow this story was just wow. is it wrong that i did not feel bad for riley and cant beleave that harry stayed with her after all that but i guess heavy lean on the love makes us blind and dumb

Riley, utterly charming and a fitting ending to your story. Despite all the turmoil that preceeded their wedding, I'm pretty sure Riley and Harry will be happy with how things turned out. Thanks for a very entertaining story! - Nicolas
| N Flamel chapter 23 . 7/30/2012
Hi Riley, I'd definitely like to read an epilogue, so we can celebrate Harry and Riley's wedding and see where they and the others are in their lives.
Now for this chapter, the ending battle in the Shack was well done and felt like I was standing in the middle of the fight. Well written, as was the section where Riley seemed to float through the next several days. After that chapter seemed a bit rushed, especially the proposal. Then I realized I didn't want the story to end, and the way to do that was for you to write more chapters. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with one last chapter (and you starting a new story soon after). - Nicolas

Your excellent depictions of emotions continued and the chapter moved very quickly. But I have a problem with first Draco, then Harry just showing up and doing nothing. Harry's reaction of closing his eyes is so far out of character I'm still in shock. Sorry, Riley, the end of the chapter didn't work for me. For instance, why didn't Lupin coordinate an attack? But I'm sure the following chapters will explain why Harry reacted this way and all will be well in the HP world. - Nicolas

Yikes. I love your writing style and you've got a lot of skill, but the title of this one should be changed to BAD Choices. The whole main cast is a big cluster**** of wackos that don't seem to have an ounce of common sense. No matter how you end the story, none of their relationships are build on a strong enough foundation to last for any significant length of time. And any kids born into that environment are destined to be screwed up beyond belief. A pretty good read, but every time one of the main characters makes a "choice", I cringe.

Okay, my heart rate has calmed and I'm breathing normally again. No thanks to you RileyPotter17! I knew something was going to happen. You set it up wonderfully, but the last paragraph chilled me. When Lupin split them up, I thought 'bad move, Wolfman.' Harry is going to go nuclear on Lupin.
Again, excellent plotting, everything just flowed, the action, the dialogue and the thoughts. Thanks for updating so quickly. Hope you do the same for the next chapter. - Nicolas

So much for hoping Riley wasn't pregnant, but I guess that would have eliminated a lot of tension in the story. I hope Riley tells Harry what's going on. After all, Sirius, Remus and Hermione know, so Harry should be told, too. I can imagine he's going to be shocked, angry and extremely disappointed with Riley, and feeling murderous toward his supposed god father. Hard to see Harry wanting any relationship with Sirius after that.
I'm very interested in how you plan to work this out. Again, very well written. - Nicolas

Wow! Not too much emotion is this chapter! I think you've outdone yourself. You captured Riley's uncertainty and fright very well. But you outdid yourself with your descriptions of Sirius' reaction. What a sleeze. 'No, that's not my job.' That comment epitomizes all that's bad about Sirius - arrogant, caring only for himself, incapable of being responsible for his actions, ad naseum.
Your A/N at the end about Riley's possible pregnancy makes me hope that she isn't, that it's just the flu. She and Harry shouldn't have to start their life together with her pregnant by someone else. I still hope Remus bites Sirius' arse. Let me state the obvious, very well written chapter. - Nicolas

I want her to be because of the drama ... But on the other and it will crush Harry, maybe you child swing it so that it is Harry's baby?
| N Flamel chapter 18 . 7/23/2012
Still don't trust Sirius. I don't like him attending the dinner, sitting on the other side of Harry shooting looks and clanking silverware. Even worse, I truly hope Riley isn't pregnant, though it easily could be just the stress of the dinner. Time and you will tell! - Nicolas

What was Ginny going to say! OOoo
I love Riley and Harry together, its so cute :D
| N Flamel chapter 17 . 7/22/2012
Riley, undoubtedly your most emotional chapter yet. I'm very proud of Remus and Hermione, though, I would have liked Remus to have neutered Sirius. Have to admit I'm disappointed in Riley's decision, but you've been consistent in showing us how innocent and inexperienced she is, so her capitulating one, hopefully last, time is understandable.
The theme of Sirius being clueless as to how to treat a lady - as opposed to a meaningless shag partner - was again shown very well. He's like a one-trick pony and that's the only way he knows how to relate to a female. Lupin's revelation of Sirius subbing Riley for Lily was as chilling as it was disgusting.
All in all, a wonderfully wrought chapter! - Nicolas

aww :') the harry/riley moment
| N Flamel chapter 16 . 7/21/2012
It seems that Sirius' motivation is more to prove to himself he can be stable and stay with just one girl rather than how much he cares for Riley. It's gotten very uncomfortable, because Sirius has become someone who only is thinking about himself, without much care of how his actions affect other people. Merlin, he's Harry's godfather and is knowingly competing for the girl he knows Harry loves.
Likewise, Riley's ambivalence has gotten irritating. It doesn't say much about her emotional depth or her relationship with Harry that she allows such an obvious ploy as this dinner at the museum to stop her from telling Sirius it's over between them.
While the writing continues to be excellent, with your spot on emotional details, Sirius and Riley have both become frustrating characters, though their actions in this chapter remained consistent with the personalities you've created for them. Of course, I'm still eagerly looking forward to the next chapter. - Nicolas
