I can't believe that nobody, not even Katniss, seems very concerned that Peeta may be killed. Nobody is even trying to say to protect him. He's innocent.

If Johanna can't see that Peeta should NOT be harmed...

I know its realistic for her to doubt him. For her to not want to be with him at all. This Peeta just has such a good heart its literally tough to read that she's decieving him when he's so smitten with her and it would devastate him to know lots of it is just for show and obligation for her.

Maybe the Capital will kill Gale. He's always up in her business in an inappropriate way.

Poor Prim and Mrs. Everdeen. I really hope Katniss doesn't blame Peeta. Or lie to him about her feelings. She needs to come clean about her cousin who tries to jump her bones too.

Honestly, I feel terribly for Peeta. Gale can GTFO like he should have in the real novels.

I loved it...AU perfection!

An incredible story, quite touching. And a story that invites to imagine another scenario: Peeta Snow as leader of Panem, Katniss, Mockinjay, convincing the Rebellion to bring down the father to elevate the son. That could be interesting .

What if the love of Katniss and Peeta changed Panem, and the Capitol from the inside ? I feel than only someone like you with such skill for Au could do something like that

I don't understand how this doesn't have more reviews. Such a well put together story and for once Katniss doesn't feel out of character at all. I loved the twists and turns and I'd be lying if I said I didn't come back to reading this once in a while when I need cheering up!

This was so fantastically lovely. Even though I don't always love her as a character, I love how you wrote her in this fic. You brought out the best in Katniss. And in Peeta, as well, though he's such a good person, through and through, that this didn't surprise me so much. Katniss is so much more difficult to capture in her best light. Great job! Also, excellent AU premise you came up with!

This is incredible! I don't normally read AU fanfics but this one instantly became one of my favorites! You write very well, there is no boring part at all. since the 1st chapter you made me squeal and excited and all. I loved Peeta here so much, it's incredible how you turned him from the canon plain baker boy into an heir of panem yet you still retain his very personality. you had actually made Peeta more perfect than he is! however, i think Katniss here is quite different, she's a bit more outspoken and jovial here. i also loved Johanna here! well done.

ohmygod, Katniss calling Snow DAD. that was really mind-wrecking. haha!

Awww. I love this-it's adorable and at times, a bit cliche, but I love it. The twist with Peeta being Snow's son completely startled me. Their first meeting horrified me, I was seriously afraid for Katniss.

(Also, I love that Peeta ended up becoming a baker again. :DD)

(But question-if Peeta hadn't been there with the bread back when Katniss was 11, how would she have survived? Hmmmmmm... XD)
