Honestly the most far fetched part of this whole thing is that Peeta could pick up career baking so quickly but I guess he's a functional baker not the extraordinaire of so many fics and/orI guess a prince's education & discipline may exceed min
I enjoyed Johanna and Finnick's roles in this.
This story was a bit frustrating that 1) Peeta was so truly kind hearted he couldn't even suspect his father; all children must go through a growing pains period with their parents,;and and he was also so oblivious to the clear terror of e regime around him, incl his object of affection 2) that Katniss could so easily forget the danger she was in at every single moment to even play with this cruel dictator's son and then still cultivate a romance. I'm with her mother on how stupid that was. And I'm disappointed that Peeta isn't writing treatises or advising more regularly, as Aristotle observed, the most virtuous often avoid politics the most, failing to balance personal and political morality; Machiavelli wrote that knowledgeable and wise men have a duty to advise governments who are attempting t reach equity for its citizens.

You have a talent for drawing readers into these brief but detailed universes.
