![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent story! I couldn't stop reading! It sucked me right in! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Finnick and Prim live! I love how you translated Peeta's innocence/naivete and his miscomprehension about potential ramifications from the books to the scale of damage that similar well-meant mistakes would create as the president's son. Katniss' emotions and conflict were great. She really did fall in love with Peeta. That love coming into conflict with her love for her family and her inability to explain to Peeta the real danger and desperation of living out in the Districts, it was very dynamic. I'm in love with their love. All of the subtle interactions between Snow and Katniss were masterful and chilling. He came at every subversive angle to break Katniss, like having Enobaria training Katniss' personality right out of her under the guise of a governess. I about gagged when he made her call him Dad. |
![]() ![]() You are a genius ! I love your story. I was so glad when I was reading this story. Katniss and Peeta are very charming in your story. I Ilike that! Thank you so much! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I read your story Bliss, which I loved, and one of the reviewers there said this was their favorite story of yours, so I came over to read this one. I have to say, I found it hilarious that they have such similar plots: Peeta and Katniss meet when he rescues her from having sex with a disgusting man for money. Then she and Peeta end up forced by adults into marriage. I originally assumed you're British, because you use a couple words that don't exist in American English, but then part of me wonders if you're actually from a culture where arranged marriage is common. In Bliss you mention Delly also being in an arranged marriage. So... British English arranged marriage India? The anthropologist in me wants to know. Also, something about this read like Frozen to me - all of the dignitaries coming to see Elsa when she's presented. Had you just seen Frozen? |

![]() ![]() Sometimes I wish this *was* canon, I like it so much. |
![]() ![]() I didn't catch, on my first couple of re-reads, that Snow rushes over to Peeta, that he smiles proudly at his birthday. Maybe some tiny sliver of his heart does care for his son. Idk if that makes him more or less detestable. : / |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was really beautiful! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Completely Wonderful! One of the best AU stories I have ever read. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was really looking forward to read a little of Katniss new life in the Capitol. Then I was hoping during the exchange that Katniss would willing follow Peeta back to Snow to keep him safe if the tide turned. And then i had hoped Katniss was pregnant after he disappear. Oh well, still a great story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I want to read more, about their like postwar and raising the kids and all! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't really read Team Peeta stuff, but this was really good and really well written. I thoroughly enjoyed it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Breathtakingly beautiful. Loved the way the characters were described and how they evolved in the story, especially as you used several "minor" ones. One of the best fan-fictions I ever had the pleasure of reading. Thank you very much. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a great story! I enjoyed it from start to finish. Thank you for writing and sharing it. |
